This tool is very useful for Installing cam/crank oil seals. Makes it so much easier on Toyota Camrys 6cyl engines because the rear cam is very tough to get to and is very challenging to install the new cam seal. This tool will make it easier. As you can see in the images I posted, it’s very useful and comes with the necessary attachments. I will say that the instructions where a little vague and I kinda had to figure out how the tool works. So for anyone wondering, the blue cups are the ones that go first, then it’s the silver cups which are adapters to extend it. You can add as many Silver adapters as needed as I did. I also wanted to point out that I do not plan on using the remover tool because it seems flimsy. I use the Lisle puller instead.

Just completed crank seal removal on my Kubota. This tool saved me tons of time and the aggravation of drilling holes iand putting in screws or fiddling with screwdrivers to pull seal out. A little pricey, but It sure works good. Seems to have durable contruction.

I bought this to remove seals and bearings. But it doesn’t work. It is a shame. I had high hopes for this. Firstly the legs aren’t as long as they claim in that you can’t pull over a shaft of over 3”. Next the legs are not toughened. So when you start pulling, the hooks on the legs straighten out. Rendering it useless. Don’t waste your time and money buying this item

It might be fine if you’re working with seals that come out with ease but this product failed to work on a 2008 Acura TSX rear main seal with approximately 190k miles. Product comes with 2 sets of hooks, short and long. I was only able to use the short hooks because the shaft that you turn to pull the seal out isn’t long enough for the long set to work. The hooks bent out on me making this product useless. I did bend them back with pliers and made a 2nd attempt but the metal was already weakened and they bent out again.

The arms are made of very cheap steel. Broke trying to pull first seal. Worthless

I used this on a seal much smaller than what the description calls for and it worked. I wish I had bought it earlier because I damaged a space and bearing trying to remove the seal the old fashion way.I am sure you can bend the prongs that you insert between the seal and shaft but with a little patience and finess these seals came right out. I would buy it again but this one should last me for my llifetime.

Not particularly strong metal. Due to that fact, tool was not very effective.

Perfect for what I needed

I had high hopes this tool would pull out the rear camshaft seal but the tips of the puller tool legs were not strong enough and they would break off.

Tool worked like a champ. Advice on use; once you’ve “hooked” the seal with the arms and set the device up, take your time. Turn the handle until you feel resistance and stop. Wait for 30 or 40 seconds, then apply a little more tension. Do not “crank down” on it. Let it work. Repeat until you feel the tension gone on the handle.

The smaller metal seal puller arms are not very strong or durable, one of the small arm tabs broke off while trying to remove cam seals on my 2005 3.3L Toyota Solara engine, I was very disappointed. The installer tool works without a problem.
