This seems to be a good wireless winch remote control kit. I hooked it up on a bench power supply and tested it function and range. Everything worked as expected. But Mine came with a different remote than what is in the photo. So I don’t know if I was sent the wrong one or they changed the style. Mine has a handle and a diamond shape top where you use your thump to press the buttons. I actual like the one I got better than the one in the photo. So a win for me.

I left My remote to My harbor Freight Badlands 12,000 lb winch on my back bumper, and drove home from North Carolina. I think it’s now safe to say that the remote is somewhere between here and there in a million pieces.I couldn’t stomach ordering a replacement controller, so I’ve been using it manually.I snatched these up on sale, and wired them in, and I’m back in business. Not only do they have a better range, but there’s two of them, so I have not one, but two chances to not be an idiot again. These will work with any winch. I am using the old relay though, as I know it’s a beast. I’m not quite sure if youre supposed to just direct wire this or not, but I figured since I had it, I’d use it.These are well built remotes, and unlike My old one, I can change the batteries if it’s dead.nice Setup!

The new side by side has a great winch. It did not have a remote , which I feel is important in watching the process of using the winch. I was concerned about wiring this into the existing system. Once I had it in hand and looked the installed wiring…..simple. Literally took 10 minutes start to finish.Highly recommend this for anyone who wants to put a remote on their winch.
