UPDATE 3/28/18:This reservoir has been in my truck now for over a year and is still fine. No leaks, cracks or anything.ORIGINAL:I have a 1975 F250 that needed an overflow bottle so I bought this to add to the engine bay. The bottle ended up fitting perfectly in the left side of the engine bay just below the battery and fit some holes that were already there with no drilling. The plastic is nice and thick and the cap is snug and secure. The inlet barb on the bottom was already open on mine so no need to drill. Also, contrary to what others have written, the cap on mine is vented. There is a little hole in the middle that allows the air to escape. It is a pinhole so if I wanted a closed system I could easily plug it. Glad I found this and I recommend it if you have the room.

John Deere wanted over $100 for a replacement tank on my older gas 6X4 gator. I did have to install mounting holes, but it was really easy and works great for a fraction of the cost.

Great universal coolant reservoir solution. A little on the small side, but does the job. Installed it in my ’73 Dodge D100 truck with a couple self-tapping screws and some washers, and I don’t see any reason that it will ever need to be replaced again.

I’m using it for diesel fuel for a parking heater. Extra tank to just turn a petcock valve and let it refill the larger parking heater tank when it is low enough to do that. . Plus I put an inline filter in the line.
