My 2008 CTS door was not unlocking itself, I have keyless entry was able to replace this with the new microswitch and now and now i can get into my car without having to use the key again.

Driver door was having an issue where pulling the handle unlocked other doors, but did not open the one I was pulling. This part fixed it. Important note for installers: when testing, the door panel must be installed when testing. For the longest time, I could not figure out why even with all new parts, the handle was still not causing the lock release to activate. Never thought that the car is sophisticated enough to know the door panel is not installed and will not let the lock actuate with no panel.

this is an exact fit replacement for the drivers door micro switch for a 2010 CTS. this is for when the CTS door handle unlocks the car but doesn’t open the door. easy to replace took about 1 hour and now the door handle opens the door. great price and shipped in one day.
