Wear gloves when installing them. Your finger prints will stick to these (replaced that one).Don’t try to reposition them. They wrinkle (replaced that one).Thankfully they include an extra sheet as you’ll likely need to re-do a couple. These are like a rubbery gel, vs a vinyl PPF. Do them all, then see which need to be replaced. I would have liked to redo one more lower hinge. But I used up all the spares.

This is exactly what I need for my jeep.I have a bright yellow jeep and when those hinges get dinged its pretty noticeable.I got these now because I am getting some paint fixed on my jeep next week. some chips and peeling here and there. Its warrantee work..but I think the body shop is going to be nice and touch up a couple hinge chips.Right when I get that jeep back (in about 2weeks or so), Im putting these protectors on.I like that these are shaped and not just generic rectangles. They are actually purposely cut to fit your jeep hinges.I like that you get plenty in case you make a mistake during install or need to replace some of the protectors with fresh new ones after they get used up a bit (probably more noticeable on darker color jeeps…I assume the clear protector could start to turn cloudy once hit with some sand, dirt or a couple pebbles).These have a bit of thickness to them…they arent super thin, they are thick enough to protect, but thin enough to bend and stick. This is exactly the quality and quantity I would have expected from a hinge protector product. Robust and more than enough to cover all your hinges and then some.Just remember to clean the area first with some alcohol wipes so you get good adhesion.I should mention these are very clear, I wont know until I install them…but I doubt you’ll be able to see these unless you’re looking.

Hinge protectors are flexible and completely transparent. Adhesive works well. When installing pay attention to the instructions, if you touch the adhesive, it WILL retain your fingerprint and it will ruin the effect.I managed to get fingerprints on the first set of protectors because I did not follow the instructions (see photo). Fortunately, the protectors are relatively easy to remove and the set comes with a fifth set that I did not need for my Gladiator.The second try things worked out fine and the protectors are near invisible.

I got the indoor hinge covers, thinking that they would be more custom fit to my JL Wrangler. Instead, they are several pieces of what appeared to be silicone tape that stretches over there hinges, and while it does provide protection, the stickiness and effectiveness of the adhesive is not great.I feel like I could have gotten the same effect buying a roll of silicone tape and cutting it to the dimensions, I need for a true fit.

I have a 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. The Romaso Door Hinge Protectors will work well, but care is needed to install them.The instruction shows using fingers to remove while being careful not to touch the adhesive side but that almost impossible. When fingers touch the adhesive it leaves a print and shows through when applied. Not a good look.A much better approach is to use a sharp, pointed Xacto knife to carefully remove and hold the protector while you position it with and push it into her hand. Use your fingers to press it all around.The protectors are thick and highly invisible once installed, and they adhere very well.It’s good that they provide an extra set for a spare, as I ruined one on the first installation attempts.

The hinge protectors work really well and they are not super difficult to apply to your vehicle. The only reason I did not give them five stars is because unless you wear latex gloves, you are going to get fingerprints on them and they are going to show. That being said, they adhere really well and do a good job protecting the paint!
