FIT PERFECTLY/ We have a 2006 rig: this is the Penguin style hood: PLEASED… Duo-Therm/ Dometic. INCLUDES the foam kit for your AC unit: with instructions. Holes lined up PERFECTLY….. and easy install, no drilling, or fiddle work. IF you have the older style/ Penguin AC., this will work, (DOES not fit the new BRISK air) style… that is a different hood., ANY reputable dealer, can take a few numbers you can find on your unit, and cross reference which one you need., then you can order here at a BETTER price, and quicker service, INSTALL it yourself, you can do it.

Just replaced two 11 year-old-always-outside OEM shrouds on my 2005 coach. San Francisco South Bay area weather – nothing really harsh. “Earlier Version” Penguin Model 600315.321; Product #991720671 hecho’d en mexico 2004. OEM’s finally gave up the ghost, especially when I pressed on one to steady myself when on the roof for something else a few weeks ago. Periodically applied 303 Aerospace Protectant over the years which may account for a longer life than some. Anyway, this replacement is absolutely perfect! As others have said: easy install and the foam tape which isolates the “guts” from the outside was included. My original foam was not in poor shape so I merely stuck the new onto the old. Lazy-R-Us. Although this made the fit a little bit tighter, over time the new stuff will compress, too. I could not find appropriately-sized/threaded stainless steel screws to replace my existing screws so I used the originals with washers; these shrouds have slightly larger mounting holes. Word of advice: if you replace these during the wrong time of the year, watch out for wasps. I had about a dozen of those “rice paper” nests, fortunately vacant. And a few mud daubers.

Good replacement for a Dometic model 620525.321 13.5k BTU unit. I think the 9″ mentioned in the installation heigh is for the total unit height, not the height of the cover, more like 7″ for the cover. As others have noted, the material is much thinner than the cover that came with the unit probably half as thick. My vehicle is a 2000 and the top cover lasted roughly 16 years; living a majority of it’s life in California and a few years in Massachusetts. As soon as you see cracks around the screw areas it’s time to either shore them up with more material or order your next cover! If not, it’s likely to blow off on the highway and shatter into a hundred pieces or worse, hit someone.

This was a great direct-fit replacement for my AC unit on a 2003 Tiffin Allegro Bus. I like the fact that it is off-white rather than black. Should last longer in the sun. Easy to install, and looks like the original but the cost was high. It has to be like $7 worth of molded plastic — but it’s molded to fit just right with no hassle, so for that, you’ll pay a premium.

This is the exact Dometic RV air conditioner cover. Perfect fit and included the foam weather stripping kit. Factory produced replacement parts are almost always better quality than aftermarket parts in my opinion. Very pleased with this product.

Fit 2011 R-pod perfectly. Bright white
Razor –
Made to fit, holes lined up and a package inside contained replacement foam but showed older models like mine had the foam attached to the A/C unit and not the shroud.

Exact fit for my duo therm penguin ac. 10 minute install.
