I used this on an experimental aircraft. The ohm range for the fuel sender had to be removed on one wing to verify proper calibration. This worked on 0-45ohm range when changing to a new adjustable range 100 Tech fuel gauge. The rheostat works perfect and instructions were easy to follow.

Excellent product.Registers a little slow . But now it functions.Swapped a 1997 jeep gas tank into a 1994. 1994 guage is a 1ohm empty 44 ohm half and 88 ohm full. 1997 is 250 full ohm to 19 ohms empty. So a few minor mods along with the variable resistor inside with the save setting part made it function. Thank you.

It does work as advertised, but the problem I have is the design. When in programming mode, there’s a tiny screw you need to turn with a precision flathead screwdriver. The problem is with the BLINDING bright red led light that they placed right next to said screw. It makes it very hard to see the screw especially with my aging eyes.

So I got this to work with my aftermarket fuel gauge and factory sender. Got it programmed and sender was bouncing allover the place. Got a new sender and turns out it was this pile of junk that was bad. New sender works great without this scam hooked up. Over 100$ wasted bc of this trash. It’s past 30 days so I can’t return it. Seller is a scam artist and doesn’t know anything about the product.

I see the reason for a few people being stumped and leaving poor reviews.. the instructions aren’t extremely clear to what’s actually happening and why, when usibg this, which makes wiring it in seem like it won’t work.. given certain circumstances, u acually may have to wire it in with loads (resistors) to bring a signal up or down to a readable level for this.. but it DOES DEFINITELY do it’s job! One thing I am curious about (that wasn’t described in the instructions at all), is what the 3 pairs of jumper pins do. I’ve read that, for other more expensive brands, they have jumpers for stabilizing voltage in the case of a needle bouncing around everywhere.. mine isn’t doing that, so I’m not bothering with the jumpers, but it would be great to know what they’re for.. or it’s just a 6 pin header for when they programmed it to begin with. Idk, but sweet!! Got my factory fuel sender to work with my cheap aftermarket gauge! Buying another one right now to correct my temp gauge. 😁
