The old alternator was whining and not charging the battery properly. I ordered this and it came in 2 days via prime. It was an exact fit. I checked that it was easy to install, but that was more the 2007 Ford SporTrac design, rather than this alternator. The alternator is running fine with no issues. And a hint to others: the idler pulley and belt are not that expensive and since you have the belt off to change the alternator anyway, and the idler is right there,……

My alternator started acting up in my 2005 Mountaineer 4.0L AWD. I looked local in the Seattle area and they were wanting $250.00 for a reman! So, when I found this NEW alternator at this low price, no core charge needed, I ordered it right away! It arrived fast!My only complaint is that they did not put the alternator in another box to help with the new alternator from bouncing around in the delivery trucks, and the pulley broke through box. There was no other damage to the alternator, so if you purchase this, take it out of the box and look it over for damage before installing.Installation was a breeze, and I had the old alternator out and the new one in, and done and running in 20 minutes!

We purchased to fix our 2007 Ford Explorer 4.0L. Installation was straightforward (good access on this vehicle), and the alternator immediately worked and fixed our charging issue. It did take a few miles of driving after installation, before the red charging light went off, and stayed off. It’s been a few months now, and voltage while driving is consistently close to 14.1v. Happy with purchase.

Installed myself and was surprised how easy it was. So far it works well for past month (though another issue – fuel rail sensor came up few days later. Probably not related to alternator). Price on Amazon was half the quote I got from local auto parts store – with lifetime warranty – which I don’t need since I’m only Keeping the vehicle until next year.

Easy install and working perfectly on my 2007 Ford Ranger

I would stand clear of their products. The alternator we bought 9 months ago had gone bad. We didn’t expect that this would be an issue already, after wasting money on tow truck fees due to the alternator failing.
