These jacks are fantastic. Had to drill new holes because they didn’t align with the holes on my 2.5 ton jacks but they installed easily and they work great. Get yourself a tungsten carbide drill bit because the bit that comes with these is worthless.

The product was good, but the seller shipped it in cut-up boxes they got from the USPS flat-rate shipping. It was like I bought something from eBay and a child shipped it to me. The makeshift box was opened on both ends so I was lucky nothing fell out. If you can get this from some other place you might want to.

I ordered this for my wife’s camper since one of the original rear jacks was bent from catching on something. I measured the bolt pattern on the original and it matched the Cobra-Tek. What I could not match is the weight capacity but being a small camper I knew the Cobra-Tek was rated higher anyway. On receiving the jack it seemed standard and heavy duty. The steel is about 1/8” thick with a good paint job. Nothing indicates it being cheap or incapable of doing its job. The screw mechanism functions smoothly with no rough catching and the scissor itself moves up and down smoothly except for a quick “looseness”at the end of travel when moving it into the stow position.Unfortunately the jack is too long for my camper needs as seen in the pic. I looked back over the description and only on one line in specs does it mention the overall length of the jack when closed. I missed that when ordering and it is too long for me to use. This isn’t so much a knock on the jack as the sellers description not making the stowed length as obvious as every other spec listed throughout the ad. For this reason I removed one star but it’s still a solid four star jack.

Exactly what came on my 30′ travel trailer and a fraction of the cost of buying from the RV dealership. It’s easy to install with basic hand tools.

When your stabilizer, jack gets damaged it’s time to buy another one but buyer beware. There are a lot of cheap chinese imitation stabilizer jacks out there on amazon. I bought a set of two jacks rated for 5000lbs And found they were poorly made, weighed 12lbs, Could not be disassembled and repaired, had a welded on collar washer that easily breaks off and causes severe wobble in use. Then i found the J-2500 jack. This is identical to the oem one I had on my trailer. Weighs 7lbs, has the yellow sticker, and has high quality components, mounts easily and works smoothly. It’s too bad I had to go through a lot of trouble before I found this.

It works well and is a similar unit that fits on the exact drilled hole locations beneath the RV.
