The belly pan arrived in a heavy cardboard container, doubled wrapped first with foam padding, then a layer of bubble wrap. It was installed easily on my 2003 GL1800. One tip I would give when installing any belly pan is to place a small jack underneath the pan to support it as it fits into the mounting studs.There are two nuts welded onto the inside of the main pan and the front piece is then fastened with two supplied torx screws. While the screws and holes/nuts did line up fine, it would have been better if they would have used a type of captive screws that would remain in the front piece.

The metal used on the skid plate is good and fit my Gold wing F6b well. Heavier than other brands. My only gripe is that there were no bolts provided to fasten the 2 piece unit together. Additionally, the threaded nuts that were welded to the plate stripped out immediately. I had to improvise to make it work.

Although there are no instructions with this I found a YouTube video that helped. Once I watched the video I found the instal to be very easy and done in about an hour. All this at a reasonable price.

Hopefully will protect the plastic underbody parts( rad overflow bottle ) from debris. Bit tricky getting holes lined up but good fit. Seems to work so far. No over heating issues.
