Adapter fits 1 inch rear hub of SPOKE WHEEL BIKE with a diameter of 1″to 1.02″ (FOR SPOKE WHEEL BIKE ONLY) ;
Used with 12G and 14G spokes；
The Adapter is a durable aluminum unit that provides fast and easy installation.
Unlike the traditional sprocket clamp assembly, the Adapter ensures concentricity with the wheel hub by using the unique two piece adapter that wraps around the rear wheel hub and enables you to drive the entire wheel instead of applying pressure on the spokes；

I ordered this for my motorized MTB. It’s didn’t fit my rear hub diameter of 1″ and wouldn’t fit through spokes properly. Bike is brand new Nishiki Pueblo from Dick’s sporting goods.
Dreaded Mechanic –
Looks like a pigeon drilled the center hole for the hub. Way bigger then an inch. What a waste of money. I have purchased a few items from this maker and this is the 1st one that us not up to par. Well, maybe this motor I just bought too.The 1.5″ one I bought months ago was a good fit. Not sure what happened.

So much easier method of attaching a sprocket. The ones I’ve done before took so long to install and I had a hard time trusting the wheel. I was impressed by this solid piece of metal that is the adapter. It was light enough but i knew it would be strongand up to the task. I wasnt totally sure it was the right part while screwing it tight around the hub of a new wheel I bought. There was a gap and there was resistance to my tightening it. Well , I decided to plug ahead because if anything, a tight fit was the most prefferable. The thing did clamp down perfectly and is the next best thing to welded being on. The sprocket screws right on and is extremely nice compared to the ones that came stock with my avenger 85 and phantom 85. Between this and the upgraded wheel, tube and tire, I feel confident with my back tire. It stays strong and true and I’ve even been going up into the mountains on dirt roads and ATV trails to camp and explore

Very nice parts!……… All the mounting hardware was sprayed with Bonding Primer and Semi Gloss Enamel, brush finished /w a shoe polish brush. I used APR thread sealer on all threads. Black Shoe Goo Protective Coating on the Hub Mating Surfaces to keep out moisture. If You ride in the snow on salty roads the extra prep. will keep it clean. Many Thanks and Good Day!….

The only reason that this did not get 5 stars is because the first one I ordered was .2″ too big. Kudos to Amazon customer service for their prompt and satisfactory assistance to exchange it for a new one. But seriously, when you’re dealing in millimeters, how can your product be so far off. As anyone familiar with these knows, even exact measurement can allow slippage if you don’t shave down the mating surfaces slightly to give you some clamping power.That being said, the second one was PERFECT, measuring .99″ and even having an extra .05″ already shaved off of the mating surfaces for that extra clamping power. I am a big fan of cutting a keyway just for good measure, but I doubt you would HAVE to with how precise the measurements were.Everything else seemed great as well. Good, clean millwork, smooth edges, good screws, and solid sprocket. We’ll see how it holds up as we start to rack up miles. I will buy another in the future. Just don’t accept it if it’s not perfect.
