Easy install on my 1957 Tbird. 318 cid V8

Poor quality pump doesn’t have enough strength to fill carburetor at cranking speed. Had to prime carburetor with gas to start car. Car will idle, but carburetor runs out of gas at above idle RPM. Junk !

We need to return this fuel pump for credit as it doesn’t work, but since we have had it for over 30 days it doesn’t appear that we can return it whether it works of not. So it this goes to anyone with Amazon, please tell us how we can get our money back on this defective part
Rick Radobenko –
due to summer traveling plans, did not get around to installing pump until this week. pump will not pump fuel but does produce vacuum and car runs fine with electric pump assist. outside of the return window and now we still need to find a new one. everything looks new but apparently these are not tested before shipping. Pretty simple pump.
Robby Nunn –
Doesn’t pump fuel need to return for replacement
Floyd Knudsen –
After installing pump tried to start engine and would not start, checked tank line to inlet to pump it was good. Then checked outlet to fuel bowl filter no fuel and at carburetor no fuel. The only way engine ran is if I put fuel in carburetor, so I believe the pump is bad from stock. SO I give it a 0 rating. Cam on engine was also good the pump must have been put together wrong and I was not going to tear down a new pump to check it out I didn’t pay good money to do that just need one that works.
