Me ha sorprendido lo rápido, fácil e intuitivo que es.Antes de comprar el Carista EVO, compre el OBDEleven, que si bien parecía que podía ofrecer más opciones de personalización y programación, la experiencia de usuario en la app me resultó bastante menos amigable y con muchas funciones en ingles que tienes que andar traduciendo si no dominas el ingles técnico. Además es mucho más lento y muy caro, ya que te obliga a pagar por todo. Aun comprando la versión Pro, pedía adquirir créditos tanto para poder activar, como para desactivar funciones.Con Carista EVO es mucho más económico, sencillo y está todo en perfecto castellano. De primeras el aparatito es infinitamente más rápido que todos los OBD que he probado. Solo con enchufarlo al puerto y poner el contacto, es capaz de encontrar el VIN del coche y conectarse automáticamente con él. Además va a toda velocidad chequeando cada módulo del coche. En mi Golf GTE es capaz de chequear las 23 unidades de control (ECUs) en menos de 10 segundos.Cuenta con un mes de suscripción premium para que puedas tocar todo si gastar un duro y sin restricciones. Activar y desactivar las funciones ocultas de tu coche, realizar el mantenimientos del coche (batería, frenos, aceite, avisos,…), mostrar los datos de sensores en tiempo real, etc. Pero además, cuando se te acaba el periodo de prueba, tiene la posibilidad de contratar Premium por 1 solo mes (9,99€), 1 trimestre (19,99€) o un año (49,99€), que para mí es perfecto. Yo lo uso poco, y con pagar 1 mes cuando lo necesite, me vale. Además, aunque no tengas el premium, siempre vas a poder chequear el estado del coche, los posibles fallos de las unidades de control y su historial.Para mí es el mejor OBD no profesional en cuanto a calidad-precio y facilidad de uso que recomiendo a cualquier que tenga un coche del grupo VAG, BMW, Toyota y otros compatibles.

So you wanna activate some options on your car you go to the website punch in car specifications and low and behold the most expensive adapter is whats best for your and you get a list of the options you could want to activate through your ecu with this device. Oh and you the app for a month. So you plug in and click customize. And you get “NO OPTIONS AVAILABLE FOR YOU CAR” wow could of swore your website said something different. Here’s one all rookies if the device isn’t bidirectional communication it can’t modify anything. Even better that app you get for month is the ability to choose common tests that you have Pay by the way each basic OBD module its a joke. I decided to try and the device with Carly app and guess what it pulled 8 customizations that I really want but when. I chose to modify the ecu I got ” THE DEVICE IS NOT CAPABLE OF WRITING TO THE ECU. So thanks for everything and my refund

Been a carista customer since 2016 for multiple Audi, VW & Porsche. So far i really appreciate the new slick Evo design and same goes for the app, easy to work it.The lifetime subscription is well worth it too, i sue it at my shop for fast scan & customisation, (i prefer a subscription with unlimited cars/changes rather than buying credits like their competitor do, OBDeleven ).

Before purchasing this product I asked their sales team via whether not this item would do a DPF regen. I was told yes and was given a link for a step by step process on how to do the regen. However, there were many people claiming that it wouldn’t do the regen. Upon purchasing and install the app/device there was no option. With it being outside of business hours and no support, I decide to purchase the premium part of the app hoping that it would unlock this said feature. I contacted their Facebook page hoping to get an answer. I was told to use the app to contact the support team for a possible “bug”. There isn’t a bug, this feature simply doesn’t exist. After waiting two days for the support team to respond, I was told to submit another ticket to get the “bug” fixed. My ticket was closed out and there is still no DPF regen option. Save your money and don’t purchase this product unless you want a product that doesn’t work and terrible customer service with limited hours.

I like the device and its ability to change certain car functions. It can pull codes from all kinds of computers, for example power seat functions, abs, and other computers that are normally dealer only reads. The device also has the ability to change certain functions which I didn’t even know you could do with a OBD. For example I changed the car door locks to all lock when the car starts moving around 12 mph as opposed to as soon as I put the car in gear. I also stopped the seat belt chime from chiming when I don’t have it on. Overall, it is very neat but the app is not customizable and it would be good if it was. I would love it if you could just choose a few read outs to monitor while driving, I don’t really want to see everything while driving, the print is small and the screen is bright white, not good for night driving. I used to use and app that would let you build your own display so you could only view readouts you wanted and it even had the ability to set red lines on the individual read outs and the app would alarm you if the read out exceeded, for example the water temp. I was also a bit disappointed with the website that said the OBD is compatible with other apps and to ask them which apps if I desired. So I emailed them asking which other apps would work with the OBD device and was told they don’t know.

The instructions work, so I highly recommend them. I purchased the Evo unit, and got a deal on the app. It worked very well with my Samsung s21 ultra in the parking lot of my place. Bluetooth was smooth and fast. I changed the battery in my VW Golf mk8, and needed to register it. It worked perfectly for that. Done in a matter of minutes. Actually saved quite a lot when compared to doing it at a dealer, and don’t really trust anyone else because I don’t know anyone here yet. There are already changes that I have made to my display for accessibility reasons. My vision is not that great. Changed the speedometer and some other things. It’s just a fantastic little device, and it works well with the app which is I must say very good for my purpose. Others may need something more extensive, and even pay less. I got what I wanted for the money I spent, and I’m not finished enjoying it yet. Also I talked to Ali on the phone, and he was super informative and very easy to understand and so far as technical things. I am new at this, so I really liked the reassurance of knowing. I’d like to thank them for that. Five stars from me.

It is amazing. I was able to turn off annoying seatbelt buzzer.…Enabled remote to roll down windows & open the moonroof. Enabled the mechanical key to roll windows back up…. Too many options to list using this module… a keeper for sure!!!
