I left a fair review for this product. It was honest, and frankly I was being generous with two stars instead of one. I will not change my review to get a refund. Keep your money.(Original review, which still stands)While I don’t doubt these work fine for providing shade, they are made of some kind of plastic (PVC?) that gives off a very strong chemical odor. Unfortunately, a car with closed windows, and sun beating on the shades made the odor too strong to tolerate, and caused my youngest to have an asthma attack. It might be okay if you let them air out ahead of time, or don’t have any asthmatics in the family, but I ended up having to return them because the odor was so strong. 🙁

Tengo los cristales traseros del coche tintados pero aún así se filtra el sol y a mi niña le da el sol en los ojos, por lo que decidí adquirir unos parasoles para filtrar todavía más el sol. Mi primera opción fue elegir algo bonito y opté por unos de Disney que llevan un sistema de ventosas, pero me he hartado de estar cogiéndolos del suelo todo el día, y el cristal manchado con las típicas manchas de ventosas.Por eso decidí escoger otros que llevasen un sistema de adherencia diferente, y después de navegar un rato me decidí por estos, por llevar un sistema diferente y además porque vienen cuatro, y sirven para mis dos coches a la vez, así mato dos pájaros de un tiro.Hay 4 parasoles, dos parejas de dos tamaños diferentes, uno triangular con un tamaño muy generoso, tipo triangular, y luego otro par rectangulares más pequeños.El sistema de sujeción o adherencia consiste en que los parasoles están por un lado plastificados y por el otro es el típico tejido rejilla de los parasoles, su uso es muy sencillo se pegan al cristal por la parte plastificada y ya no se caen, menuda diferencia con los de tipo ventosa.Decir que los grandes triangulares son plastificados por ambos lados, y que también llevan una bolsa para guardarlos si alguno de ellos no los utilizas, aunque tengo que decir que yo no soy muy manitas y después de desplegados me gusta doblarlos para guardarlos.VENTAJAS- 4 parasoles (puedes utilizarlo para las 2 ventanillas traseras de dos coches)- Sistema de adherenciaINCONVENIENTES- Doblarlos después de desplegarlos (al menos a mi no se me da muy bien).La durabilidad de los mismos, el tiempo lo dirá, pero en primera instancia estoy mu contento con la elección, no siempre lo más bonito es lo mejor o más práctico.

My partner and I recently moved from Chicago to Los Angeles and I got these thinking it’d be nice to keep the sun off of our dog on the classic Route 66 trip. No sooner had we crossed from Texas into New Mexico than our car AC dies. Completely hosed. The compressor failed. We stopped in a nearby town to try to get it fixed and they said it’d be a week to get the parts.So, we got a spray mister and put up the sun shades, cracked the windows and drove in the very early morning as much as possible, turning the inside of the car, effectively, into a swamp chiller. Everyone arrived safe but driving through the Mohave Desert was… unpleasant, even at off-peak heat time.The shades easily dropped the temperature in the car by 10 degrees, preventing sunlight from slamming full force into our fragile selves. The full window ones are basically a blackout, which was nice for the back windows, and the rectangular ones fit basically anywhere on the car.

I like the idea of why this product was made but maybe it’s because it’s hot in Las Vegas? Not sure but I put it on my windows before I go to into the building for work, 8 hours later and they have fallen off. due to this being a fail, I have given it all 1 stars because it is not doing what it is supposed to do.I can’t even return it because it’s one (1) month past the return date but I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt and really, really try and make it work. But I don’t even bother to put it on my windows anymore, it’s a waste of my time and my money. I really wish I returned it and got a refund.Maybe it might work for someone if they are not in a hot place like Las Vegas? Although, you would think that is the purpose of these sunshades – to block out the heat

During the coronovirus pandemic and while caring for someonewith dementia, I find myself spending a lot more time in my car and looking for a shaded spot that is not already taken. I purchased these because I had a small rip in the screen I had in the passenger window. I didn’t read the part about self-clinging. The ones I had were the ones that you had to wet the suction cups and attach. These are light-years better than that!! I love them! You simply hold them up where you want them and push. then go back and forth to roll/push out any bubbles. Done! It’s that easy. Then, if you need to open your window – simply pull it off and reapply when ready. They are thicker than the ones I had and I’m hoping the UV protection works. Especially since I live in Arizona and want to protect the inside of my vehicle and keep it cooler. Overall, totally worth the money.

I use the larger shades on the back windows for my children. I use the smaller ones on the front windows. Unfortunately I feel the darker shade should be the larger shades on the back windows for the boys. The darker shades are the smaller shades that I put on the front windows and sometimes it is hard to see through and causes a bit of a deterrent. These have been taken down and put back up at least 30 times this week to let our windows down. But I have not yet had to clean them and they still stick perfectly to the window! All in all I really like them. It does help keep the car cooler also.

My wife is very light sensitive and riding in the car drives her crazy, even tho’ she wears dark glasses most of the time. The larger shade easily clings to the window, just smooth it down all over. She loves it! It does not block outside rearview mirror and it’s easy to see through. The smaller shades also cling easily to the window, but they are a bit more opaque, so are more suited to the rear passenger windows. They come with a case, but after reading a review that said they lose their “clinginess” after awhile, I decided to never fold them up, so they just lay flat in the back seat. Never had an issue with getting them to stick to the glass.

I’m EXTREMELY disappointed in the front side shades. It was advertised that it would fit the make and model of my car…..WRONG!!! They do not fit the front sides. The bottom keeps popping up The back window shades fit nicely and I hope they don’t fall off because there is nothing that keeps them on the window other then the sticky film on the shade itself. I’ll give them a try for a few days, and if they fall off, I will DEFINITELY be returning them along with the front ones.It’s really frustrating when the posting says it will fit a specific make/model/year of a car and then it doesn’t 😡👎

I do like the packaging they came in and will be easy to put them back in. I liked how there are two different shapes and it contours the front window better.However, the black material is quite see through and didn’t really feel like it was cutting much light out. I couldn’t get it to stick to the window properly because the metal frame inside didn’t uncurl. It was made it curve into the packaging it came in, but when it came to sticking to the window it wouldn’t lay flat. Even after trying to flex it in different ways and directions, it still wouldn’t stay flat on the window.I’ll definitely be returning these and trying to find something different.
