the tank uses the proper US thread type and not the metric threads on cheaper units.. in my opinion i would retap the eyelet before screwing it on the new tank and make sure you hold the rod .. you dont want to spin it and possably tear the rubber diaphragm.. it was a perfect fit …

It was just what I was expecting. It worked fine. I had to order another one which would be on the left side.
