Fan works fine but spent 5 hours trying to fit new bracket in desperation I took the old fan out of the o/e bracket and put the new fan in the old bracket and it went straight in not too happy

This part worked great as a replacement in my 2009 VW Touareg. Between YouTube and Amazon I saved a ton of money.

I opened the box, and pulled out the fan, and the entire electrical guts separated from the housing. The sheet metal screws holding the unit together were at the bottom of the carton. I attempted to assemble the unit, and the screw holes were stripped out. I had to dig up out of my collection of hardware and find suitable screws to securely attached the unit to the housing. Reverse assembly back into my 2006 VW Touareg went without a hitch. The fan works as I expected – just hoping the unit remains in one piece. Just disappointed that I had to repair the unit before I could install it. FWIW.

I had no trouble replacing this part as it fit perfectly in my 2012 Audi Q7. AC is back and it’s great. Only issue is that this blower seems to blow less air than the OEM one that I replaced.

Worked great for my Audi Q7

Need to replace the old blower which still moves air very well but is embarrassingly squeaky. This replacement fixed that but now the problem is that it is underpowered, especially when you want that MAX cold AC on hot days.UPDATE: Turns out my blower resistor was also bad. Once that was replaced, the fan performance no longer an issue. It has improved sufficiently that I no longer notice it. Change from 2 star to 4.
