I bought this to replace a cheaper metal one I was using to get into the bunk of my camper. I wanted something a bit more solid with rungs that were deep enough to provide comfort to bear feet when climbing down the ladder at night. It comes unassembled but predrilled. You get more screws than you willl use, so that’s a plus. The wood has no sealer on it so if that concerns you I would seal it before assembly. I was concerned about splinter potential but it came sanded with rough areas.Several areas that need to be mentioned before you buy this. It involves a lot of screws and there is no manual. It includes a screwdriver, but if you just use that, you’ll be at it for over an hour. If you have a cordless drill with phillips head bits, use it! In assembling the rungs to the sides, it will be a lot easier to frist screw on the metal support brackets to each step and then screw the steps to the side pieces according to their number as drawn on the step and the side piece. Once you’ve done that, it will be easier to put the long screws in from the sides into each step.Its a pretty solid feeling little ladder. It handles my 210 lbs just fine. I’m not sure about the 660 lb claim, but luckily I’m not 660 lbs.

The quality was good, but you can’t adjust them. It has to be at the perfect angle in order for the steps to be flat so I had to redo all the steps.They should have a way for you to adjust the steps. The tall one is really tall. It’s a value for the money because if I were to build one myself which I could do, it would’ve taken a lot longer and I’m going on a trip. It’s for my RV.

Perfect replacement ladder for our motorhome. The extra-wide steps are comfortable to climb, It’s twice as deep as a metal ladder, so you won’t step or slip in the dark of night with bare feet, and it’s more slip-resistant than smooth metal!
