Upon early inspection of the part, everything appeared to be of an acceptable quality. The installation was seamless and there were no problems until the boot clamp broke in the sixth or seventh month of use. Very disappointing as my previous CV joint/boots lasted 7 years.

I bought this CV axle less than a year ago and it has already gone bad. The boot is torn where the clamp goes on.
