Kind of useless for cooling down an entire trailer no matter what size small or large because the vents only point one way cold on one side hot on the other the manual unit has been some both sides so that would be great but this only points towards the bad so the dinette area stays hot I guess if it stays on long enough it’ll bring the temperature down.Thermostat controls the heat strip or the external Suburban furnace comes with instructions for the upper unit and the bottom unit and thermostat and screws for the AC unit come out to the roof

Works well I did not need the new air inlet on mine so I left it off and just used the new electronics. The new inlet is not a bad idea will increase air flow through the unit but I’m lazy. Instructional video would have been nice ,but if you do one wire at a time you will be fine and remember there are less wires to thermostat with digital. The thermostat that comes with it is very easy to use but I might upgrade to a wifi cable since our camp ground has wifi so I can pree cool camper.

I replaced this on my Kodiak RV, after the airconditioner would kick on and off irractly.. Not knowing a whole lot about electrical, I went for it.. I first pulled the thermostat off the wall, and there were 8 wires.. The new one had 4 wires.. wtf? Same thing in the ceiling unit…I called customer service and they were very helpful, and walked me thru the process..Bottom line is it works perfectly..Norm Casey

The product was packaged very well. All of the necessary parts for the replacement of the assembly were included. Instructions were included and very easy to understand. I was able to remove the old assembly and replace with the new one within about 20 minutes.

This accessory pack is required to install any of their AC units as the AC unit itself has a proprietary plug. This mounting kit has the junction box that the AC unit plugs into. I installed this on my older 5th wheel and really love the thermostat as opposed to my old manual one, it seems far more accurate. I also really love the “just fan” options as well.I did have to do some probing to get this working, the big thing is you need 12v+ up where the AC unit mounts and 4 wires to use to talk to the actual thermostat (one of which is going to tie into the 12v+). If you want to control your furnace, your switched furnace wire needs to be up near where the AC unit mounts as well.

First off, you need this interior part to go with the roof mount AC unit. The thermostat needs to be hard wired, so expect issues wiring this. And as far as air flow, this unit lacks majorly. I should have bought a complete unit from one of the other name brands such as Furion or Coleman

Great replacement! Worked perfectly after a few calls to tech support for wire connection. Going from analog to digital and writing instructions didn’t match with my camper. Customer service was great. Noise level just a little louder than the original

Purchased enitre unit for a trailer. Have power to a/c unit and after figuring out we needed 12v power for controller, got that installed and now have power to controller but controller won’t turn on. Customer service was no help. I do not recommend this unit.
