Amazon has the best price. This is supposed to get rid of the clunk in slip yoke on GM trucks. Seemed like a great improvement the first day, but after a few I think the heat liquefied this grease as well.

I had a really bad noise coming my rear suspension on my tahoe 2007 i start looking where that was coming from every time i steep hard on the brake or when i hit bumps i can hear a ugly clunk noise i change my rear shocks and no difference so i found that the slip yoke need grease and i foun this take my drive shaft of the truck and put some grease on i put it back in place and give it a try it was nice and quiet i drive more than 400 miles and is still quite so if somebody has a issue like mine I recommend you to try this before expend more money on other parts

My 2003 Chevy Tahoe was getting a weird creeking sound when i go over speed bumps. I also was hearing clunking sounds when i had to make a hard stop. I removed the drive shaft and applied the grease in the slip yoke and the creeking and clunking sounds are gone!! I definitely recommend!!

This is really tacky!!! I removed the rear driveshaft from 04 Silverado cleaned all the splines the best I could and applied this to the T-case output shaft splines and also inside the slip yoke. Also made sure my pinion nut on the differential was tight because I’ve read some reviews where they were loose and mine was. Put it back together and when test drove the noise was gone!! It use to clunk under acceleration and also when stopping or changing direction of travel.

It supposedly stops the GM driveshaft clunk. Cleaned splines well, covered the output shaft splines, and smeared some inside the slip yoke itself, it may have reduced the clunk but still would hear it from time to time. I would suggest instead of spending 75, check Valvoline, Amsoil, any of those MP full syntehtic greases, they seem to be the same or better and work. AMSOIL grease is dollars, Mobil 1 is around 8 dollars. I can say the Red Tacky Grease that I usually use did not help at all and was annoying cleaning all out incase you’re wondering on using that. Its breaks down I found too fast. The grease you need to stop the clunk is thick, which this is thicker, but theres way cheaper options that are just as good. Look for multi purpose synthetic grease for HEAVY loads/ usuage. Good luck. Also if you still hear a clunk, check your leaf springs, make sure they are not tired or flat, and check the mounting brackets. The actual bolt hole can oblong itself or rust there.
