    I got this 4-prong range to 3-prong Welder adapter which is listed for $24.The cord is too short but the joints that connect the wire to the plug feel secure. You can’t twist the wire inside the plug, which is a good thing because it could come loose inside. If that happens, it could cause the plug to overheat, melt, or even start a fire. The male plug prongs are made of two thinner pieces of metal folded together instead of a single, thicker piece. Just cheaper construction.Over all, this is an adapter I would recommend although it does seem a bit pricey.

    This adapter worked like a charm! I plugged it into my 50 amp RV outlet, then plugged my 30 amp plasma cutter into the adapter. Bingo, all the power I needed! Recommended.
