This is a well put together set with several helpful extras. The first is they have all metric and standard sizes in fine thread and courses thread. There are thread files included that will be helpful.It’s been used twice already and it cleaned out the threads with no issues. We are very happy with this product.

Wow, this set was a lifesaver on the very day it was delivered. Super-fast shipping in that I received it the next day and boy am I glad I did. Was working on a car and had a small bolt get cross threaded. Was able to find the right size tool in this kit to clean up both the bolt and the receiving end in the block. Really nice, well organized, and useful thread repair kit.

You don’t need it until you need it. If you work on your own car, truck, or other vehicle, (or anythinbg that uses nuts and bolts) you need this complete and well made thread chaser kit, also known as tap and die. But it includes more than just taps and dies. It also has thread files, it has thread pitch gauges so you know before you get started what tap or die you may need. I see this kit being in your set of tools, whether you are a professional, hobbyist, or just a DIYer making an investment to save time and money later..
