This adapter is exactly what I needed to plug my 240 volt planer into my welder outlet. It accepts 10 and 20 amp 240v plugs. BEWARE: it is dangerous because the universal receptacle design also accepts standard 120v plugs. Danger! Plug only 240v equipment into this adapter!

I got this adapter cord to connect my EV charger that came with a 6-20 plug to my EV wall charger that has a typical 50A 6-50 receptacle. The plug is heavy duty and solidly connected to my wall EV charger. The 6-20 adapter receptacle also mated well with the 6-20 EV plug. The adapter is working fine. The reason for one star deduction is that I could not tell if the adapter was listed by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory like UL or ETL. The 6-50 plug had the mark of an NRTL, but I did not see a NRTL mark on the overall label. A mark by a NRTL is very important to me for electrical items.
