Very smooth and no end play at all. Very strong rack and pinion when building your own setup

I am using this in an FSAE car that I autocross. There is a lot of play inside the rack that makes it hard to control the car.Coming from a Stiletto rack, this rack is pretty much useless.

Other than a few manufacturing blemishes in the housing everything seems to be working correctly. Installing on an offroad buggy build so perfect finish wasnt required. Will work perfectly for my application

es mucho mas pequeño de lo que aparenta, no es robusto, no parece para uso offroad. las terminales no se pueden girar para ajustar el angulo

first off this thing is tiny, I bought it for a go kart, and its perfect but Id never use this on a rail buggy, its signifcantly smaller than a polaris rzr rack, which isnt exactly big. That being said it is super nice, the machining looks top notch, nice real lip seals on the steering shaft, zero play in the rack, easy to turn with you fingers with no spots that bind. if you want a good quality small rack this is it, if your looking for something for a dune/rail buggy Id say no.

My original rack was only mounted with 2 bolts. I hit a rock. Might have broken it!I mounted the new one with 4 grade 8 bolts and a steel washer plate. The holes are for 5/16 bolts but are very close together. I used hex drive (Allen head) and made a nut plate for the back. Not enough room for standard hex nuts when using all of the bolts.
