No real instructions on how to get them synchronized. Tried everything but couldn’t figure it out and every thing that’s they show you in order to do it is extremely vague and hard to understand.

I really wanted to love these Devil Eyes LED signs — the idea is awesome, and the display itself looks great. But unfortunately, syncing the two units is a real pain. You have to set each one up separately, then power them both down and restart them at the same time to try to get them in sync. Even then, if the app is open during restart, one unit connects to your phone and causes just enough delay to throw off the timing between the two displays.They do work individually, but if you’re hoping for a seamless, synchronized effect across both units, be prepared for frustration. For the price, I expected a smoother, more user-friendly experience.

This LED light strip does work. It has an app that has quite a few choices and it is controlled by your phone using Bluetooth. However, it is difficult to get this to connect to my phone. I have not figured out a way to connect both of them to my phone, and only one will connect at a time. If you want to do the eye graphic that it has as the primary picture, you can do it on one of the two strips. Perhaps it is an issue with my phone, but it seems that if that were the case it would not connect to either strip. At any rate, I can recommend it as a good product if you want to use only one at a time.

Very cool kit. I’ve had a few of these displays and the iPixel app is not the best, but it gets the job done. The nice thing with this kit is that when you connect to the displays, they are labeled L and R so you know which is which. Though the units aren’t labeled, once you figure it out it’s pretty easy to manage.Colors are vivid and the resolution is good enough that it looks neat from about 10 feet away. Perfect for the application.My only complaint is that there is no way to “sync” the displays. For example, if you use the “eyes” where each display gets a mirror image eye, you can’t sync them in the app. There is a workaround, which is to turn them both off and back on at exactly the same time. If you saved the animation to the device, it will start the animation from the beginning at initialization.

I left these in my truck in front of the pool hall for the evening and they got a lot of attention! I love that these cone with a remote control with a few pre-set eyes and other graphics, meaning I did not have to put yet another app on my phone to control them. This set also includes a very nice, long set of usb cables with on/off switches wired in, which is great since my trucks cigarette lighter outlet stays on even when the truck is off. I can leave the eyes plugged in and just flip the power switches when I want them on.

This product costs too much to NOT be able to control the 2 displays simultaneously. That said…This product is pretty cool. I love that I can display longer words that other similar products with single displays.The price is kind of high here. Especially considering you cannot control the 2 displays together as one big display, this is a bit of a hit on functionality. Furthermore, you have to enter into each display separately to work with it meaning, you all but disconnect form the other one while doing so. While this is not the worst oversite if the world, it does create a bit of a disappointment. But I do believe for it to be this expensive, they should probably fix this.Set up was pretty easy. It was the same as one of the other similar products I have, even uses the same app, which is nice because I already had it so, yay, no new apps, lol…It is made similarly as well, however, the circuit boards actually have metal bracing behind it to help protect from damage (Bending). Well-made as far as I can tell…Yes, this can be a very fun product, lol…The brightness is about the same as all the others I have, so pretty typical. That said, they can be seen through windows and such. I have one of those black tinted insets from inside a flatscreen, which is darker than probably any legal window tint. I put one behind that and you can see it in daylight. This would lead me to assume you should be able to see these things in most typical conditions, especially at night.I would recommend this product, but I would have to be sure to mention how set up works as mentioned above. I do believe this will be a problem for some people, but not all.
