I’ve become completely dependent on my AirTags for finding the keys to my vehicle. So even though my vehicle key fob doesn’t need a replacement battery yet, I ordered this to keep the AirTag battery fresh – I’ve put a reminder in my calendar to change them every 12 months. These work great and have an expiration date that indicates they’ll last far past the one-year replacement schedule I’ve set for myself.

My batteries were OEM replacement batteries. Toyota uses Panasonic CR2032 and the batteries provided in the package are Panasonic CR2032. I don’t know what I would do with the screwdrivers. They could be helpful for other reasons, however, they are not really necessary for the opening, removal, and replacement of the battery for a Toyota key fob. The seller provides a QR code to an install video on the back of the package. This was helpful. I thought my key fob would open like other key fobs I have owned. There is a special way to do this for the Toyota key fob. I wouldn’t have figured this out without the install video. I probably could have searched for an install video on the web, however, I was going to muscle it open like I usually do on my other key fobs but I chose to look at their instructions because they were conveniently located on the back of the package. The instructions were provided in English in the video. The person speaking was clear and understandable (non-accented standard English). I appreciate this, because I’ve purchased some items from other Amazon sellers, where the audio instructions are computer-generated speech, or hard to understand due to accents, or have subtitles that are hard to understand. This product is expensive for two batteries and some tools. I would have rather they provided a tool with a thin edge used to help pry open other types of key fobs or battery enclosures. I could use extras of that tool. The install instructions were very helpful and QR code was conveniently located. This is a great feature of the product.

I ordered these batteries to replace the dead ones in my camera shutter & key fob. The best part about this pack of batteries is that it comes with a little screwdriver & spudger to assist in changing out the batteries. The price point is slightly high for a two-pack of batteries ($16 at the time of writing this review), though the price range on these seems to be all over the place on Amazon. Otherwise, they’ve lasted so far ever since I’ve changed the two batteries I needed three for and haven’t had any issues since. Highly recommend!

This is the right battery i needed for my 2019 Toyota RAV-4 key fob. I looked up a how to video online to tell me how to get the fob open and easily popped out the battery with the included tool and swapped it out for a new one. I love that it came with a little tool to make the process easier. Its why i chose this brand over some others that don’t include a tool. I mean, if you can get a handy doo-hicky that’ll make a job easier for about the same price as the one without a doo-hicky, why wouldn’t you go ahead and get the one with the doo-hicky???

These batteries were the perfect fit for my 2001 Toyota RAV4 4 SUV.I also like that I still have an extra battery for safekeeping so if and when I need to replace the original; it will be readily available.Its functional and a good value.

Although the text noted that the battery was compatible with my car’s make and model, it was too large in size to fit the key fob although it was a 3V size.
