Product Description
Universal Temperature Pressure Valve Remover,7/8” Pressure Valve Remover, one piece
This spanner fits most water heaters and 7/8 inch spanner
The rv water heater pressure relief valve allows for safe, quick and easy removal and replacement of temperature and pressure valves, with an extended length that allows the spanner to avoid the water heater housing
The water heater drain valve is made of durable, heavy-duty galvanised carbon steel, which is of superior quality, strong and durable, will not bend or break, and is reliable, and the performance of the product has been rigorously tested to ensure extended product life
if your water heater pressure relief valve is stuck or leaking and you need to replace the pressure relief valve, this is the tool you need to make it easy to replace the pressure relief valve on your hot water tank.

The tool seems well made, with 2 semi-circular cut-outs which grab the T&P valve by the outlet. The cut-outs are different sizes, and I can confirm that they would be usable on a Watts 100-XL valve, and a Cash Acme (from Home Depot). However, in my case, access to the valve was blocked by a bracket for the door latch, on a Suburban water heater (I don’t know what model, but it’s on a 2024 trailer). If your valve is not straight-on accessible, this won’t work for you either. It’s too bad, because it seems to be an otherwise useful tool, well built, and an answer for a difficult job.

Worked perfectly on my motorhome water heater.I remove the pressure relief valve a couple of times a year to pour in cleaner/decalcification solution into the tank. In addition to having replaced the valve itself a couple of times when it started leaking beacuse of calcium build-up. Because of surrounding metal covers removing it for that maintenance and replacing the pressure relief valve have always been a nightmare. This tool solves that problem. Not only did it allow a better grip on the valve, but its length move the needed torque outside the obstructions. Putting a simple wrench on the end of this tool then allows a full 360 degree turn. The tool is very solidly made, thick metal, good weldings.Highly recommended tool to keep in your “plumbing” toolbox. If you do this type of thing professionally, more than just for your own water heater, even more so.
