This tool is a must for working on CIS fuel injection systems. It is easy to use. However, it could use longer hoses so that you can be in the car and watch the gauge as you crank and start the enguine. Otherwise, works great and not a bad price.

For the price…this kit may do the job, but imho is not worth the price. Fittings are very limited, the guage lens is made of plastic with a purge valve next to the guage. Fuel can easily get on the lens and begin to melt away the lens making it unreadable. I had another kit, a complete set sold by harbor freight, that was much higher quality although difficult to use with the CIS system because it had pressure valves in all the connections. As well, the kit I received appeared used or returned previously.

I have a Lotus Esprit, and with this kit I cannot test system pressure between the fuel pump and the fuel distributor,I have a large banjo bolt, like on the return side of the warm up regulator, feeding the FD, and while I can connect to the FD, there is no way for me to have a double ended female connection to hook up to the fuel supply from the pumps at the same time. You can still test a warm up regulator with it, but you cannot fully test fuel pressures like the service manual calls. How ever the gauge seems like decent quality, and I tested it with air to check its accuracy and it was spot on.

gauge works well, has all connections, as advertised. successfully checked and diagnosed 1985 Mercedes Benz 500sec for hundreds less than having it done by a shop. did also get a used manual specific to my injection for reference. would recommend to a friend. not the highest quality, but well worth the money, and great addition to any toolbox.

Worked well for a 1977 450SL and a 1988 420SE . On thr 450 I even managed to hook it up in a way it bypassed the WUR, set desired fuel presure and test engine responsiveness to be 100% sure the WUR was my problem.

The unit was built as advertised and worked perfectly.

leaks like a broken faucet out of the relief button.

I bought this tool to work on Audi 5000 CIS Bosch fuel injection system, but it did not have all the fittings to adapt for the fuel distributor. I had to borrow fittings from another, cheaper fuel injection tester to correctly attach this gauge to the Bosch fuel distributor per the Bentley shop manual. For the lack of fittings, this is the only reason I did not give it five stars. There are other fuel pressure tester units that cost far less and do the job because they have all the fittings.
