I recommend this product for engines that will in fact start but not run well. I highly recommend it for that specific purpose, which it is designed for. It cleans the inner workings of the carburetor. Of course, you will have a cleaner carburetor if you take it apart and clean it with proper tools and a proper carburetor cleaner.You spray it in the gas tank, start the engine, and let it run a bit. It will not start an engine with a totally plugged up carburetor. Nothing is going to do that. Nor is it a fuel stabilizer, as one previous reviewer seemed to think. Nor is it a product to be used to bring life back to stale gasoline, as another reviewer seemed to think. The only thing to do with stale gasoline is drain it out and pitch it. Nor is it a product to be used for cleaning a carburetor you have taken apart to clean. You should use a proper carburetor cleaner for that purpose.I’ve given it four stars because it cleans out mildly plugged up carbs. It is not a miracle solution for really neglected carbs as the name suggests.

I had to treat my lawn mower four times but now it starts right up and runs/sounds new. On the 1st treatment I treated the gas tank and the carburetor and had no luck. I tried something not listed on the can, I unscrewed the spark plug, sprayed some product in the spark plug chamber and on the spark plug gap. Screwed the spark plug in and it started up. I mowed the yard. On the 2nd treatment I treated the gas tank and the sparkplug/sparkplug chamber and it started right up. I mowed the yard. On the 3rd and 4th treatment I treated only the sparkplug/sparkplug chamber and it started right up and I mowed the yard both times. I have mowed twice since then and have not had to use the product either time and after four treatments the can still has some product left in it too. I’m pretty sure the problem was the ethanol in the gas causing the startup issue with my mower. Probably gunked it up good and this product un-gunked it. Only buying ethanol free gas for the mower from now on.

2008 Yamaha BWS 50 CC SCOOTER IN STORAGE FOR 3 YEARS with old fuel. Would not start. Drained old fuel 90% and replaced with premium fuel. Would not start because of remaining old fuel in carburetor. Added Start Your Engines and waited 45 min. Turned over would not start. Let the fuel system revitalizer make its way to the carb and 4 hours later and 6 attempts the scooter started flawlessly and now purrs like a kitten. Highly recommended. THIS PRODUCT WORKS !!!!! DO PURCHASE.

Product works well in getting my 15 year old old mower to start, but at only 2 oz it’s very expensive and I feel I will need a new spray can once or twice every season. Also the squirt nozzle pointing vertically at the top of the can is not ideal as you tend to get the material on your fingertip trying to squirt it into the air filter/ carburetor or spark plug hole.

Great product! Fired up the engine on the first try. Snowblower didn’t start due to gasoline I had left in it from prior winter. This product worked great! It’s alive again!

The best stuff on the market to getting a four stroke engine back up and running for the season. I highly recommend it. It is getting a little expensive but it’s kinda like a carburetor cleaner and a tuneup all in one
