This product works just as described. If you have an average sized adult head, this product will fit snugly and will not come off during physical activity. If you happen to have a very large head, I doubt that this particular product will be suitable. This skull cap contains 11% wool which is enough to help keep you warm yet will not be itchy.I have been wearing them for the past month and have no complaints. When washed, they dry very quickly (air dry) and are ready to go for the next outing. It is very thin and light – after jogging a few miles, I remove it at times due to overheating. Since it is so small and light it fits into my pocketsless the feeling “that you have something in your pockets.”*** My mother is up in years and is chronically cold. When in the home she wears one all day long and feels warmer and more comfortable. These are really greatfor seniors. It just took my mother a few days to get used to the idea of wearing one!

i found this cap equal to the Pearl Izumi Men’s Barrier Skull Cap. and the best part is you can buy 3 of these for the same price as the pearl. it’s 100% fine wool which is what you want for warmth and comfort. very nice quality and fits under helmet no problem. i see some complaints about it not covering ears. i don’t understand that complaint. its an all around great cap.

The sizes are youth and adult. Adult is pretty tight. if your needing compression for your head after strenous thinking this may do the trick. my melon is 7 1/2 + on a good day

This cap is snug, lightweight, breathable, quite warm, and thin enough to fit under a helmet (though I did have to loosen my helmet by one notch, but I keep my helmet quite tight). I comes down over my ears to protect them from the wind, though for someone with a larger head it might be on the small side for that.It is more or less a windbreaker, but together with a helmet it also retains heat. The nice thing is about this is that you don’t sweat hardly at all in it even though it keeps you super warm.It also works really well for a second layer underneath a hat for very cold days (particularly against high winds). The only reason I give it 4 stars as opposed to 5 is that the elastic around the edge can be a little constricting on the ears and uncomfortable after an hour or so. A little padding here would have been nice, though that might have kept it from fitting under the helmet. Nevertheless, it isn’t something that I’d wear all day, which isn’t ideal for any piece of clothing. Still, I use this primarily for biking in the cold and wind for which it is definitely comfortable enough. In short, this is a great cap! Could have a little extra comfort around the ears, but that is only a problem if you wear it for several hours.

The house gets a bit chilly during winter here in Chicago when we’re trying to not go crazy with the gas bill, so I decided I’d like an alternative to a baseball cap. A baseball cap works reasonably well, but I’m not a fan of wearing it backwards and the bill gets distracting when watching television, reading, etc., let alone sleeping. I decided to try something different. This works reasonably well, but isn’t quite right for me.I’ll start with the pros:- Seems to be made of high-quality materials with high-quality workmanship- It is fairly warm, better than a baseball cap- Lightweight, also better than a baseball capCons – for my big head (7 3/8) at least:- Fits too tightly – it gets uncomfortable if I wear it for any length of time- Since it’s tight, I need to pull it down far enough so it doesn’t pop off, and it pushes into my glasses- It’s itchy on my nearly-shaved head

I have owned two of these caps in the past made by the same manufacturer and loved them. However, I could barely stretch this one enough to get it on my head. On my shaved, size 7 1/4 head. I could feel my heartbeat in my head because the cap was so tight. It felt like I was trying to squeeze my noggin through a small hole in a brick wall.If the adult size is this right, then I have to wonder if the youth size would be about right for a toddler.Did I mention that it is tight?I solely regret purchasing this cap.

Mr. MVP has a really large head. I am a knitter and when I knit him hats I always have to size up for his head. Seriously, his head is gigantic. We did not expect this hat to fit, but after one run and one weird line across the front of his forehead, this hat has quickly become his favorite. I just ordered an additional hat for when the first one is in the wash.We live in Michigan where it is freezing cold and Mr. MVP says that this hat keeps him warm and dry during his runs and stays on his head exactly where he puts in. He wears glasses and this skull cap does cover his ears, but does not squish them. He says that it’s comfortable. The hat is made out of wicking material and does not feel like much of anything, so it dries super fast. I wash it on cold on the gentle cycle and then line dry.

The hat is sooo small, it doesn’t even fit my 5 years old and it is the adult size….

Just received my Junior cap for my small adult head and it’s a bit snug but at least it won’t fall off easily. Most people will want the adult size.

Parfaite petite tuque d’automne, fit parfaitement sous mon casque de vélo J’ai une grosse tête et elle est confortable

A little pricey for what it is. Not a bad product though. It will do the job of keeping the sweat from running into mg eyes and prevent the sun from burning my bald head.

I bought this hoping it was the same as a previous model of CTR headwear I had purchased. The previous one had a fleece-like headband built in but I with no model number to compare, I was guessing. This does fit well and doesn’t have the narrow elastic that others have but it just isn’t as warm.

When new the cap is a little tight for my medium head, but after wearing for awhile and a machine wash/ warm setting dry, 2-3 times, the cap eventually loosens to be tight enough to be secure but not annoyingly so. I wear mine under a ball cap in the winter, it covers just enough of the ears and no more. Quality cap, wears like iron, warm & THIN!
