5. Why didn’t this tool work for my vehicle which is in the Compatibility List?

Besides above reason, the most possible reason is that the TPMS sensor you bought has problems. Besides above reason, the most possible reason is your sensor. Was it a new original sensor? If it was a new original sensor, you must buy a wrong one. If it was an old sensor, there must be some problems with this sensor, such as low power or no power, damaged, car TPMS system has a problem, etc.

Purchased to save money for my 2013 f150 and 2019 expedition. TPMS is electronic and goes out and has bugs just as any electronic does. This is a simple TPMS relearn tool that can assist if the sensors need to be reset. We had an experience where the expedition had new tires installed, the installer didn’t have the relearn software or equipment to fix the issue of the TPMS failure on reinstall. We had to go to dealer and have the system reset. After seeing this tool, I’m hoping that shouldn’t happen again. Haven’t had to try it yet, I’ll have it if I need it and hopefully it works as designed and advertised.

This TMPS relearn tool has finally rid me of the TPMS error I have been dealing with for months. I had a sensor go bad, presumably from a dead battery since the car is 11 years old (2013 Ford Fusion). I ordered sensors from Amazon and had them replaced last month when I got new tires put on, but still got the error. This tool is simple to use and comes with easy to follow instructions. Just had to put the car into learn mode and go to each tire and press the button on the tool. Now I finally have no more error lights and will actually know there is a problem if one occurs. It also comes with a battery included (a CR2032 coin cell) so it is ready to use as soon as it is received.

I don’t know if it’s me or what but none of the tire pressure reset tools I get online doesn’t work for my Ford Explorer. I really thought this would work since the reviews were pretty good but just not working for me.

I upgraded my truck tires to a more off road look and they kept tripping the low pressure warning on my dashboard. I couldn’t figure out what was going on and checked the forums. I found that when you get bigger (or smaller) tires that you need to reprogram the TPS on your vehicle. This product comes with instructions that walk you through the process. Being my first time it did take me 3 tries before I finally got it right. It is hard to get the right progression of key turns and brake presses to get the computer to go into “troubleshooting” mode or whatever it is called.I have not had my TPS light come back on sine using it.

Just the tool you need for swapping between summer and winter tires. If you have a complete second set of wheels for your snow tires then this is what you need for a complete DIY swap in the spring and fall. No more trips to the tire store for reprogramming.Cycling the ignition with a push button start can be a bit tricky but does still work. Note that older models, like my 2014 Flex, require two presses of the start button to go to “ignition on” mode. A single press goes to a partial accessory mode and is not correct for entering programming mode. The trick is to press twice for “ignition”, then press once for “off”. Repeat this 2/1 cycle as directed by the instructions to enter programming mode. It took me a few tries to get the timing right.
