Just got it, fits well for my size but haven’t ridden in it yet. Seems heavy but I think that should be expected.

Awesome suit rain or shine. I wear it and can still fit my chest armor and armored shorts in this suit.

Perfect fit! Covers my boot fine when sitting on the bike. I’ve ridden in 40° weather on the freeway for half an hour. The air leaks thru the neck, which cools the upper body just a bit. Assuming a neck warmer will solve that. Otherwise, will have to wait to give my final assessment after a season in the Seattle winter.About Me: 5’11”, 250 lbs, inseam (jeans) 30″. Ride: Honda Goldwing (yes, the fairing and windshield impact results).

Good quality. Great 1 piece for the price. Order larger than you think you need for clothes underneath

I have had multiple jackets and pants for riding and a suit or 2. It was time to upgrade so i went with the Joe Rocket Survivor suit. Having had several Joe Rocket Jackets I had a high level of expectation and it was met. The suit fits as it should and is comfortable. I did 2 6 hour days over the weekend and was comfortable in the 60s to upper 70s without the liner in it. With the liner I am expecting to be comfortable to around 40.The sizing – OK,suck it up and read the sizing for this. Ya, you might be an XXL like me but “think” you are an XL. Well you aint, so pay attention or you will get the wrong suit!!! Personal experience talking to you here. American “vanity sizing” does not work. Get the size that fits based on the description and you will be fine. It fits perfect based on description and is comfortable! The pockets – well there are a lot of pockets, but they are not big. Keys, wallet, fob, small iphone etc sized..Air flow – was good, i did open the vents and did get a breeze, i was surprised.Water proof – i have seen multiple people post pros/cons on this. I did get some sprinkles and mist but no actual rain so i will reserve comments till i have a full on downpour but my expectation is that i will be relatively dry, nothing i have tried has been 100% but I expect this to be close. The only 🙁 i have is on the color choice. I wanted the hi-visibility but for some reason they ONLY have that option up to XL. Excuse me, XXL folks like being seen too.Bottom line – suite is probably the best bang for the buck. While i have not tried the high end suits I have ridden with friends that own them and visually i did not see any reason to spend that 2 or 3x. At this point i would give it 5 of 5 starts and recommend it. I will update my review in the future if something changes.

Not only is this suit incredibly convenient and flexible for warm to cold weather, and incredibly well fit due to the multiple zippers and buttons to customize fit, IT LITERALLY SAVED MY LIFE AFTER BEING HIT BY A CAR. I suffered almost no abrasions, and after being flipped through the air by the impact, only the leg actually hit by the car was broken. Everything else was protected without so much as a scratch. Thank you, Joe Rocket.

Definitely not windproof can feel the air pretty good. It might have to have another layer on when it’s cold out not as warm as I expected better than nothing but still you need another layer or something. And definitely not waterproof. It might be good just for a little bit in the rain, but I got soaked my clothes were soaked underneath it not good.
