I bought this motor for a 2002 TownCar driver seat with memory. I checked the local dealer and a new OEM motor was $220 and thought about getting it since I knew for sure it would work and the Town Car only used this seat motor for the 2002 model (or so my mechanic said). When it arrived in 2 days (amazon had said that it may be delayed several days which was not true) i was surprised that what I got was not even close to the picture. The box contained almost a complete assembly and when I took it to my shop they were happy to see that it included everything that possibly could have been wrong with my seat. It was easy to install and has worked non stop for the last several months I have every reason to believe this was a much better alternative than buying the same motor from the dealer for an extra $100.

As mentioned by other reviewers this is a complete ready to install three motor assembly, not just a single motor. This does not include any seat tracks. The install is easy, though time consuming. The install took place on my 80K mile ’03 Lincoln Town Car’s drivers side seat. The lower RH side seat rail and the relay computer both must be removed to gain the room necessary to remove the old motor assembly and install the new unit. Don’t forget that there are two Torx fasteners holding the assembly to the LH side rail. Aside from that there isn’t much in the way of replacing the motors under the seat.Overall I am impressed with the unit for the price paid.

There are a number of 3 motor seat adjusters for Ford. None were supposed to be compatible with my truck. I Bought one on a hunch that all the mechanical features were the same and was right. The connector type, location and wire pin assignments can be different from one PN to another. I converted wire assignment and connector type on the new unit I received. It works perfectly. I recommend finding the correct factory schematic for your particular Ford seat and switch assembly. The switch is a piece of work!

I bought this motor after experimenting on the passenger side.I think it will fit 1999-2007 models. This motor is physically an exact fit for my 2003 F250. If you’re like me, you’ve looked for a replacement seat motor and had no luck. This will do the trick. The harness is the male end though, while the factory connector is female. You have 2 options. You can cut the factory harness off and swap it to the new motor, it works great, and I did that last time.THIS TIME I gutted the old motor housing with the wiring harness attached, and reassembled the old housing with the new solenoid/magneto and brush assembly. Worked like a charm, and I didn’t have to disassemble the seat frame and gears. If your seat motors are totally burned out, this might be your best option since you can’t rotate the motor assembly to disengage the gears from the track.Caveat: The color coding was the same, but the buttons were functioning backwards. You will need to move some of the pins for proper functionality. It’s not hard. Just move the pins around and test the buttons before you reinstall. I didn’t map it, but it’s literally 2 mins of trial and error.Brought full functionality back to my 20 year old seat!

Well, as most of these reviews suggest, this seat motor is used on lots of other vehicles. The connector that comes with it is not the same for the Hummer H3 but the motor absolutely is. I attached a photo to show both connectors after I already pulled 1 pin out of the old connector. To use this motor on your Hummer H3, you can do 1 of 2 things. You can solder the old connector to the new motor or re-pin the new motor using the old connecter. I chose to re-pin the old connector. I ordered the following pin part number: 12066214-L – Delphi Metri-Pack 280 Tin Plated Unsealed Female Terminal for 16-14 AWG. With my connector wired, I was able to disassemble the seat rails and install everything. Perfect fit.

I took a chance on what other reviews said about fitting an f250 and it worked. I have a 99 F250 super duty extended cab. The connector that comes with it is the same female connector that is on the seat side so I cut the connector off the old motor and butt splice crimped it onto the new motor. I matched the colors up and tested it. Then had to swap the 2 wires that power the center motor (moves seat forward/backward) because it was backwards. When I pressed the switch to moved forward, it moved backwards and vise versa. After swapping the 2 wires it worked properly.

this can replace the motor assembly on a 1999 f350 if you like me couldn’t find a new one for that. You DO have to SWAP the PLUG for this to work as it is reversed. very easy to do, but not everyone can i guess. not other mods were needed. works well in this application, the seat finally moves well again.

This is listed for Town cars but I took a chance at it working in my super duty since the only thing I could find were used one on eBay for three times the money. It took a few hours to figure out how to remove the old one. I should probably make a video or YouTube video to save people time. I also had to cut the connection in wire to connector I had on my old one from the f-450. If you do so on the front and back the wires need to be reversed. Everything else wires exactly the same position as the one you’re cutting off. It took me about 3 hours to figure out. If I had to do it again it would probably take me an hour or less. This motor will fit the driver seat of a 2006 for super duty even though it is not listed as one of the vehicles it’s for. I also do not see where a mechanic would take this on. This is definitely a DIY project or find somebody that is Handy to do it for you.
