Function and Style
- Hooke Road covers your JT’s OEM inner hatch panel to give you a much flatter surface. Consequently, your JT tailgate can serve as a table whether tailgating, camping or you just want to set that hot cocoa down. This product is a heavy-duty 1/2-inch plastic. As a cutting board, it’s also food safe.
Easy Installation
- Remove the factory bolts on the factory hatch panel. Assemble the new tailgate panel and screw the bolts. Some drilling is required for the complete installation. Use a drill to drill two mounting holes and bolt on the roundhead tapping screws.Snug tighten only,over tightening will damage the board.

I like the fit and finish of the table. All holes lined up perfect. 25 and 27 torx is all that is need to install.Highly recommend. Price is awesome.

Product was shipped via FedEx. Horrible tracking, and took a week to receive. I reached out to the supplier regarding delivery, UBOX Offroad. And I did get a quick reply from them with tracking follow up. The product arrived in very good condition. The packing from Hooke Road was excellent. And product was very nice. Fit was perfect all holes lined up on my tailgate for my 2021 Jeep Gladiator. Looks great and I like the smooth surface now for working or getting on the tailgate. I elected not to drill holes for the upper corners as the fit was tight with the 10 bolts to the tailgate. Instead to cover the holes and minimize the debris the could collect in them, I shortened a couple panel plugs I had and pushed them into the holes. Finished off the panel very nicely. NOTE: This will add weight to your tailgate. The easy down drop you may be used to, will be much faster and drop a bit harder. Over all great product.

Easy installation. Perfect fit on gladiator. Looks great and easy to clean. Well worth the money. Protects the tailgate from scratches as a bonus.

Easy install but the hardware is really cheap. I’m considering swapping out for higher quality cap screws. There are two unused screw holes at the corners that the OEM tailgate is not provisioned for. I am also considering drilling those two holes into the tailgate and installing cap screw sleeves to “Finish” the install. But for now it seems solid.

This fit my 2022 gladiator perfectly. It is sturdy with a slight texture, making it resistant to scratches. The added weight to the dampened tailgate makes it open a little faster as expected, but it still doesn’t drop open. This is an excellent addition to the truck.

Solid design, easy to install holding up very well to wear and tear for daily use does add a little bit of weight to the tailgate but is a far better design than the stock tailgate itself wouldn’t find myself without one of these on any of my trucks
