I was having a pulley alignment problem on a Chevy 454 and I finally figured out that this bracket on my truck was bent, probably from when the motor was removed from a motorhome. I suspect they let it fall out. I was preparing to go try to find a junkyard bracket but thought I’d see if any dealers had it first. I looked up the part number and was amazed that several were available from Amazon. The price was right and it sure beat searching for a used one of questionable quality (it was difficult to see how mine was bent until I placed the new one next to it on the workbench). I installed this one in just a few minutes after removing the power steering pump pulley. Now my serpentine belt runs true and it’s quieter too.

Seems to be ok wish it was thicker but it should hold up on my 454bbc
