Probably works on other BMW motors but I used it on my M54B30. Must have to not scratch up your (new expensive) solenoids. Keeps it looking factory fresh.

It fits perfectly. Sturdy enough to break a socket wrench. Did not strip the thread. If I needed more than one . I would buy again
