Wow! $60 saved me $800I drive a golf cart perhaps 4 miles a day. I bought it 4 years ago, with brand new batteries. There are six batteries with four water cells in each. Over the last couple of months, I had a terrible loss of power, and prior to ordering this product, I just about ran out of juice after my 4 mile ride. I priced out new batteries, and $800 what is the best I could do. The last time I filled up each battery with water, many of the cells took more water than they ever did before. It was then that I felt the extreme power loss, so I knew something was up. I spent a couple of hours Scouring the Internet for the best price on batteries… After I got sick to my stomach, I began looking for alternatives, and I found this stuff.I found this product and the reviews were mixed. Worked for some, didn’t work for others. I decided to invest in two bottles for $60. I emptied 2 ounces of water from each battery cell with a turkey baster. I then added 2 ounces of the product to all 24 holes. I let it sit for a few hours, then I put the golf cart on the charger. The result was immediate. Over the last couple of days, my golf cart is flying. I had adapted my golf cart to travel around 25 miles an hour. I guess I didn’t realize the slow deterioration of the pick up of the golf cart, because, now when I put the pedal to the metal, the thing is flying like it’s brand new.I can’t say at this point, that this will last forever, but right now I feel like I made $740. Anyone, who is suffering power loss, and is freaking out because they have to buy six new batteries, must give this a shot. Many times in life, we buy products and are disappointed. But this stuff in my case, anyhow, works like magic. You owe it to yourself, to lay out the 60 bucks, to try to save 800.Bravo….. I don’t know how long this stuff will last, but I am perfectly willing to throw in a couple of bottles once a year… Or whatever.

I originally bought this large container from JCW which doesn’t sell it any longer. The price from amazon was about the same. I use this on NEW BATTERIES only! The reason behind this is that if you’ve left a battery outside over the winter and it was dead, say goodbye to that battery as this will not recover a ruined battery!! When a battery dies the acid concentration becomes more water than acid, then water freezes which expands and pushes the lead plates apart from each other (sometimes a frozen battery side walls will be bowed or pushed out), at this point this battery is ruined for LIFE! This stuff works great on BRAND NEW BATTERIES only! I buy cheap one year “Value” batteries from WM, add this stuff (correct quantity is a must!!!) and these batteries will last longer than the most expensive battery! I have also used this product on 6 Volt RV Deep Cycle Batteries with great results as well! The most amazing time this stuff saved my butt was the time (1991) it was pouring rain outside and I had left my headlights on while in class, by the time I got out there was not enough juice to start my truck. I did as the package claimed to do at the time (not sure now) and shut my headlights off for a certain amount of time and then turned my brights on for 30 seconds. There was just enough juice to start the truck saving me from a tow! This is the exact reason I will keep purchasing this product!

I don’t typically write reviews, but DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!Let’s start with me, I work with batteries on the regular…mostly lithium. Current shipping prices made buying lithium cells to build a pack for my golf cart a bit out of reach for my taste, so I decided to repair my current lead acid gc2 batteries. My batteries started off in the 1.25V range (as purchased with the cart) and were considered damaged and unusable. After some meticulous charging and desulphation strategies, I was able to get all batteries to hold anywhere from 6.25-6.35V, this is great! But my range was only 0.5 miles on the cart, so I knew I had sulfation issues still. My internal resistances were anywhere from 18-40milliohms per battery, and specific gravities were all at the bottom scale of good, 1.250. I decided, sure…let’s try this out for $40, what do I have to lose? Apparently $40 is what I had to lose! Anyways, I contacted Solder-It, because the instructions on the bottle were not clear on exactly how much of the solution to add per cell. They were of zero help, claimed they are just the distributor, and gave me a number for Core Auto parts to contact as they were the manufacturer. I called Core, and they claimed they don’t even make chemicals, although they do deal with batteries but had never heard of the Charge-It product. I then call Solder-It back, told the same guy what Core has told me, and he said he would have to call me back regarding my question of how much to put in each cell. 3 days go by, no response. Finally I said the hell with it, I’ll just put in 2oz per half gallon of electrolyte based off the recommendations of the bottle. Now, each battery holds 1.5 gallons of electrolyte…so I needed 36 oz of this fluid, and the bottle only has 32. I then decided, ok…the worst cells get 2 ounces, and the better cells get a little less (40mL-60mL based off specific gravities). Added product. Charged batteries, no change in IR or specific gravities. Discharged batteries, got 0.5mile of range in golf cart. Recharged, waited 12hrs, zero change in voltages, IR, or specific gravities in ANY CELL. So, back to some extensive desulphation cycles like I was doing before the product.THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK!You can’t return used battery acid, so this quantifies itself as purely snake oil. They take your money, and their is nothing the average user can do to prove it doesn’t work. When you have questions, the company is non existent and unable to answer any questions. Nobody is taking responsibility for this product.DONOTBUY!!!!
