I was waiting to review until it was on for awhile. Came out of the box in perfect condition, it was very easy to install, 5 min at most! It’s been on for a few weeks now and the only issue is the brand sticker came off the first time I washed it. I would buy it again.

So for some reason, I received 2 bugflectors a day apart. Both boxes were destroyed and the bugflector had a few small scratches on it. I decided to go ahead and install it on my new 2022 Tacoma Sport. Looks great, super easy to install and fits perfectly in the pre drilled holes on the underside of the hood. Very happy with it other than the small scratches and packaging when it arrived.

Like a lot of people, I tend to read all the negative reviews so I know what to look for when I order a product like this one. My bug shield arrived in a very large box that was in good shape. When I opened it I looked for many of the things others have mentioned as problems (warping, misplaced holes, scratches, etc.), and found no issues. While installing, I was very careful to make sure that I placed the retainers in the correct holes as others have mentioned, there are extra holes in the hood. I then loosely put all the screws in to check for alignment to the hood. My shield was about 1/16″ to the right of center. While holding the shield to the left I snugged all the screws down starting in the middle and working out. When it was all done, I found the points of the shield that seemed most likely to contact the paint if it was hit by something large, and placed the rubber adhesive bumpers there. I was also very careful not to slam the hood down as others have mentioned damage to their vehicles. I adjusted the hood bumpers up 1/2 turn on each side before deciding that I could adjust them back down to factory height after a fit test.I am very pleased with the fit and finish of this product on my vehicle. Hopefully it keeps the windshield a bit cleaner too.

Great fit, easy to install (ALWAYS read the “destructions!”), looks great. I have run AVS bugflectors on all my cars for years, they work great, and this latest one doesn’t disappoint. Recommended!FYI this is the “high profile” model.

Fit my 2023 Gen3 TRD Sport Tacoma. Came with hardware. No issues installing the various screws and the corresponding push-in plastic pieces. Fit and finish is of good quality. No issues and would recommend for the $.

Puts a lot of pressure on the plastic shroud forward of the hood because there’s barely a gap there for this to fit. To avoid it pressing against the headlights you have to use the hood bump stops to gain some room but because the latch in the center of the hood is fixed, the hood essentially bows out and creates a gap between the hood and the edge of the front shroud. The glue on the little rubber bumpers is dry so they are useless.

Came in good packaging and was not damaged or scratched at all and was easy and fast to install. Took me about 10mins to install and looks awesome!! I’ve had very good luck with AVS products and will definitely keep buying their products!

Great look, easy to install. I hate tape on the car paint. This easily installs with clips (place in holes already in hood, no drilling) and screws. Great fit and look. NO TAPE! Several videos online to install.

When I saw the crushed box on the front porch I Knew it wasn’t going to be good. Opened the box to find my bugsheild ii broken into pieces and no hardware in the box to mount it, will be returning for a refund. Also box had clearly been opened and re taped shut in many places.
