These pads work great! I used the Hawk brand prior to these and these are just a bit more sticky then the Hawks. However these are much quieter than the hawks on my drilled/ slotted rotors when braking. My only issue so far (less than 400 miles on the pads) is low speed squealing, probably best described like your finger on a wine glass hitting the resonate frequency. This only happens at stop sigs, drive thrus etc.Overall, if you really drive hard and want as much wooo for your go as possible, get these pads. The Hawk pads are a close 2nd to theese because of the noise.

Put these on a 09 Tundra and all I can say is shame on Toyota for using anything other than this type of quality in the beginning. So far these work 10 times better than OEM!!!

Great brake pads, stopping power increased dramatically over oem pads, a lot more brake dust than oem, worth the trade off

These lasted 6 months, dusted like crazy. Squeaked the whole time, and ruined my rotors.. I’m not a rookie to brake jobs.Update:5/25/18 now. After I put on the new rotor and new pads (OE) my brakes have been silent and working perfectly. Don’t buy these unless you want to do the job again in 6 months and buy new rotors!

Easy install with OEM equivalent fit. Lifted Tundra on mud tires stops a lot quicker now.

I installed these on my Wife’s 2014 Sequoia and they work great! Amazing bite, unnoticeable fade, only downside is they’re fairly dusty.

These are awesome. 4 out of 5 because unless you have used used them before you will probably install then wrong. If there was not some secrets to installation then they would be 5 of 5. As for performance they are unmatched! They are so far superior to the stock pads or basic aftermarket pads it is hard to describe. They simply grab and hold with no fading or any loss of power. They provide consistent and predictable braking whether towing or just driving aggressively. I live in the high mountains and am always driving on steep and twisty roads and you can’t do better than these pads.Pros:Superior stopping powerNo fadeVery consistentCons:Cost – pretty expensive!Longevity – I only got 35K out of the first set before I was down to bare metal (but I drive aggressively and tow a fair amount on steep and winding roads, and to be fair my original brakes on my 2016 Tundra only lasted 22K in the same conditions before warping and steering wheel shudder became unacceptable).Installation – Install has some tricks involved if you do not want brake squeal (I will share the tricks at the bottom of the review).Dust – These are dirtier than stock. (I run black wheels so not that big of an issue but if you have aluminum or other lighter colored wheels you will be using elbow grease at every care wash to keep your wheels clean!)Ok so how do you fix the cons? Price is what it is but the performance is worth it if that is what you need. Installation is no different than any other pad but you must do a few extra steps to avoid brake squeal. First, make sure you get the ant-noise inserts from EBC that are supposed to be included with these pads. They are round inserts that simply push into the caliper pistons and do all of the noise suppression. It literally takes 5 seconds to push them in place. They make all the difference in the world. Without them it will sound like metal on metal within a few hundred miles. I experienced this the first time I used the pads. I had to basically reinstall them when inserting the shims. The other thing I do is I use the anti-squeal paste on the back of the pads when installing. Let it dry thouroughly as instructed and then install as usual along with the shims. Your brakes will never make a peep! Keep in mind that I have ordered these pads 2x through Amazon and both times they arrived without the anti-noise shims. I was going to return them but I called EBC directly and they overnighted the missing shims to me. Great service on the part of the manufacturer! Most complaints of these pads come from not understanding what you are buying and what you need to do to install them correctly. These are high performance parts with higher than normal dust but far superior braking power. I fully recommend these I just wish the shims were always in the box from Amazon and the price point was a bit lower. One final note…the rear pads did arrive with the shims in the box both times I ordered them.

These pads definitely improved braking.. they do cause a good amount of brake dust on your wheel.. I’ll take the stopping power any day.. good stuff..

Little Dusty on my tundra but the stopping power is unmatched.
