This is the right replacement impeller that mounts under a top plate on the upper stern drive. It fits my 1988 classic OMC 4.3 liter Cobra.They give you all the parts you need for a full installation. The rubber impeller/wheel is perishable so I like to keep a couple of these on hand.

I ordered this for a back up unit to keep on the boat. On the older OMC or Mercs – these impellers and or assembly’s are known to wear out annually. Not worth overheating the engine – order a spare!

Got this for my 93 OMC Cobra 4.3. Fit and finish is as nice as any other water pump kit I’ve bought, even NOS. Everything bolted on fine, started at the engine and everything checked out. Glad these pumps are still available and reasonable, I replace mine every other season.
