Hunter Eaves –
I purchased these to replace my worn valve covers on my 93 s10 blazer’s 262 v6 vortec. As one of the questions for the item states, realized that the covers that were sent didn’t have a recess to accept the stock gaskets for the valve covers. I was about to try and send them back to find another one, but realized that these were intended to not be valve cover replacements, but should be placed overtop of your old valve covers to “refresh” you old ones. Just take a rubber mallet, and tap them over the covers after removing the old gaskets.
