Probably the first on the market (much needed product), but it has many design issues, unfortunately.1. The wood screws they expect to make it’s way through steel is a joke at least. I had other bolts with nuts to try.2. The thickness added by the frame and bolt head (even though I used a lower profile one) makes it almost impossible to have the lock pin in the hole (see pics).3. You need to remove the pad to be able to install it, which creates the need to carry a allen wrench to remove the seat in case you need to do it.4. Bright chrome bolts attaching the back pad kills the look of the bike. They could have included black bolts. Finally, I installed it without the bolts and it seems firm for use, but try it at your own rick.Probably returning it, too expensive for what it is. :-(I hope they will improve the design.07JAN2024 update: Kemimoto CS has reached out and provided me with a full refund. Rating updated from 1 to 4 stars because they stand behind their product.

Will add more pics, so self tapping screws didn’t work, all I did was slightly drill a bigger hole in the bike fame tabs (will add pic) and used 6mm bolts to hold in place, better than original to be honest, when all in place the seat is a big tricky to put on/take off but can be done with ease, I plasti dipped the 3 chrome bolts to black (see pic), simple, I also have a kemimoto back luggage rack & fender delete back light, these all worked hand in hand, the main part is that the ride experience is now amazing, no more worries about loosening ya grip on the clutch and flying off the back, makes you feel solid on the bike!

Have had this back rest for 3 months and the finish is peeling off.Going to tear it apart and put a better quality finish.

The two wood screws provided to mount this frame to your bike are a joke. Firstly, they are the wrong size and secondly wood screws! So without buying alternate hardware you cannot install this. Also if you have the Sundowner seat the backrest pad has to be off to put your seat on and off. So you’ll need an Allen key anywhere you go.Every part of this is flawed. Deciding whether to force it or just return…

Solid and easy to install, well worth the cost and locks you in tight.

Don’t care had to fabricate to make work poor design

Really poor fit. Visible bolts are in silver, when they should’ve been black. Makes it look cheap. The use of self tappering screws….Leaves a big gap behind the sadle. Backrest is low quality and of the wrong size, which makes installing the sadle a pain each time.
