    The tab in the front is both further back (so that it can’t reach the socket made by the strap metal on the frame) and the mounting bolt is at an angle that causes the front tab to be 1″ higher than the mounting position on the frame. Waited too long to do this rebuild and now I’ve gotta do frame modification since I can’t return this otherwise useless seat.

    This seat is supposed to be a direct replacement for certain models of mini bike. I can’t comment on that because I got this for use on a custom mini bike so I set up the mounts specifically for this seat. I like this seat. It looks nice and the it’s a great size for me. I prefer a larger saddle and this one sits well for me. The padding isn’t super thick but it’s not bad either. I really like how the shape is at least a bit similar to how old motorcycle seats used to look, as this mini bike has a vintage theme. If they made this in a two up seat it would be pretty awesome. So far I like the way this seat looks and feels. The bike isn’t done so I can’t comment on durability or comfort after hours of use but if I need to add any updates I will edit my review at that time.
