How Does It Work?
When Stars (acidic pre-soak) + Stripes (alkaline soap) mix on the vehicle surface, a resulting pH shock activates the cleaning reaction. This process breaks the static bond of dirt and road film from the surface, allowing the high-psi rinse to remove more grime than a single-stage application. This process saves the user up to 80% of the time compared to a Mitt Wash.

DIRECTIONS:
BEFORE YOU START…
- No situation is the same in the world of washing & degreasing. Different seasons, paint conditions, power washers, etc all play a huge role in how you wash.
- Each gallon of soap is SUPER concentrated. Stretch it out or go a little heavier. This is up to you. Wash a small section and adjust your soaps if needed. Use this technique when ever starting a new wash.
- Before applying STARS, we recommend performing a high-PSI pre-rinse to remove any heavy buildup.
STEP 1: APPLY STARS
After completing a high-PSI pre-rinse, foam STARS onto the vehicle, working from bottom to top. Be sure to work in manageable sections for a thorough and satisfactory wash. DO NOT rinse STARS off before applying STRIPES.
TIPS+TRICKS:
- When washing polished aluminum surfaces, DO NOT allow soap to dry. Streaking may occur if soap dries prior to the final rinse.
- When washing mirror polished aluminum always make sure aluminum is cool to the touch before applying soap. If it’s too hot to touch we recommend a cold water pre-rinse.
- Try not to wash in direct sunlight as this will greatly accelerate drying.
STEP 2: APPLY STRIPES
- While STARS is still foamy on the surface, foam STRIPES directly over STARS, working from bottom to top.
- DO NOT let the soap dwell. It’s important to rinse while both soaps are still foamy and clinging to the surface.
STEP 3: RINSE AT HIGH-PSI
- Rinse left to right, starting at the bottom of the foamed section.
- While rinsing use high-PSI and stay within 12″ of the surface. Missing a section while rinsing will leave behind road film.
TIPS+TRICKS:
- After rinsing, dry the surface to prevent any water spots from forming.
- Consider using a leaf blower for efficiency or, even better, a drying towel with a spray detailer for a flawless finish.
SNAKE OIL: TOUCH FREE SiO2 CERAMIC FOAM SEALANT
We recommend applying Snake Oil to your vehicle after using Stars + Stripes. It’s a great way to maintain and protect that fresh, glossy look-especially if you wash frequently or drive in tough conditions. When using Snake Oil, make sure to apply it before drying your vehicle; it works best when applied to a clean and wet, but not excessively dripping, surface.

I have spent upwards of thousands of dollars on soap gimics over the years, I own a small fleet of semi trucks that are always in the harshest conditions. Sometimes it just isn’t practical to hand wash everyday of the week, but this stuff would fool anyone. It took a lot for me to buy into another product but after testing it against Wisconsin winter conditions I’ll buy it over and over again.

This stuff is amazing. Now it can replace a contact wash if the vehicle isn’t too dirty. The longer you leave it the better it works. Just don’t let it dry! I will be using it as a prewash and judge it from there to see if I should do a contact wash.

Not quite the magic as advertised. But, it does work pretty well for a quick clean once the vehicle has been deep cleaned. Then it helps keep up. Most road grime did not come off at all
