My Stinger BK300 works SO well that when the bulb gave out (in about a year — exactly as stated by the manufacturer) there was no question as to whether or not I would buy a replacement. It was so easy to replace. too — just drop the “door” on the bottom of the Stinger, pull the old bulb straight out, stick the replacement straight in and close the door. It’s that simple and well worth the price.

I’ve ready many places that say bug zappers don’t work on mosquito’s but after picking up bug zapper I can literally hear them being fried as I sit comfortable on my porch now.It’s a night and day difference, before I would be attacked the moment I stepped outside and now it is rare to even see one. Even the neighbors have commented on how it has reduced their mosquitos. This replacement bulb fit perfectly and continues the tradition of attracting and killing small insects.If I had one recommendation about zappers, it’s to buy the higher voltage model, there was a 700v and a 1500v and I find that the 1500 tends to clean itself by literally burning anything off of itself. The lower voltages would need to be taken apart and cleaned to remove lizards and larger bugs. Well worth getting the $70 model over the $50 model.

So far so good. The item fit perfectly, I did not have any problem inserting the pins into their holes up inside the body of the lamp. It’s back to wiping out the surplus bug population in my neighborhood.

I read the reviews and thought geez – how many Amazons does it take to screw in a light bulb? This cant be too bad. Must be a bunch of whiners. Nope. It arrived, it looked good, it plugged in and worked. For a day.I happen to have two bug zappers. The new lamp doesn’t work in either of them.Seriously, I’d rather complain and let you know than bother with a return. Just don’t buy it. I’m going to get some other brand bug zapper at a place that carries replacement bulbs.

The bulb works great, but we didn’t know we would have to replace the battery 5 months after we got the new Stinger for this past summer……….I think it should have worked longer……..Tell me if you agree.

THis bulb worked fine from March 29 to June 15, 2019. It runs from dusk to dawn. I generally unplug the zapper unit during winter. The price is reasonable at but I would think and hope it would last longer than 3 months. I do plan to ordet another one but may choose a different site next time.

OEM, popped tried in and off to killing bugs. It did drop down like three bucks when I bought it it was right around 13 and change.And on a safe side you might want to wear some latex or nitrile gloves when you install it. Don’t forget you have acidity on your fingers. Same thing when you put bulbs in in your car. Just better safe than sorry.

Works well with my Stinger. Ive learned from past mistakes…. not all stingers take the same bulb, and very year our hardware store sells a new Stinger….and new bulbs…. you cant get replacements! Ive learned to buy bulbs preemptively so I dont need to replace the whole thing every year. A few bulbs and a couple lures and Im good for 3 years. My only challenge now is remembering that I bought the replacement bulbs already.

I was cleaning my zapper and broke the bulb doing so. I then was reading the directions for my Stinger zapper and they recommend a new bulb every year. That was surprising to me, but I had to replace the bulb anyway. I was quite surprised how much brighter the new one was. The zapper seems to be much more effective now – I’m cleaning it out almost every week now as we have a lot of bigger moths/bugs in our areas that don’t get completely fried. Early summer has been wet and mild so bugs have been particularly bad this year so a replacement was quite timely .I highly recommend this replacement and if you unit seems to be less effective than before, a new lamp might help out. Only downside is price, but $’s to performance seem to be there.

It arrived on time, lit up when plugged in. Unfortunately, the electrical grid has now stopped working, so it’s basically just a light..
