I installed this a couple of months ago, and haven’t had any problems with it. It came quickly after I ordered it, and seems to be of better quality than the last starter I bought (which probably only lasted a few hours of motor time). Though I haven’t used the boat very much since I replaced this starter, I’d rate it highly for better initial quality and (so far) performance.

It was too short to catch lower bolt on merc bigfoot 60hp 2003 outboard, but i had two pieces of bar stock 3″ long tig welded to the existing lower tabs and it works fine now.
