Great size. Super compact. Easier to lug around than the larger tanks. First place I took it to couldn’t get it to take propane. The guage read full even though the tank was clearly empty. The attendant wasn’t interested in listening to me about depressurizing the tank. I took it home and connected it to my grill and turned the grill on. No flame, of course, but was hoping it was make a difference. When indisconnected from the grill the guage read low, so i hoped for the best. Brought it to a second place and had no issues with filling it. Really pleased with that outcome since I didn’t want to return it. 5 stars after that depressuring thing worked out, but I suspect attendants without much experience with filling new tanks might not know this trick.

Full 20 lb tanks were too heavy for me too lift and move around on my excursions with a creaky old back. This size and shape suits my needs perfectly. I mostly use it with my camp stove and Portable Buddy heater. It’s enough capacity to last an average week of camping easily and more economical than the one pound disposable propane bottles. Glad I bought it regardless of price and it’s saving me money in the long run.

Love this tank – the guy at the propane place who filled it (12 bucks) was very impressed with the quality, and said he never seen one quite like it. I’ve only had it a few days, but I used it on my ALP propane generator and it worked perfectly. Even the gas level gauge seems to be accurate. A bit spendy, but I don’t mind paying for quality, and this is much easier to maneuver around than a full blown 20lb tank. Overall, I am very pleased.

There’s bent metal at the top and bottom but Amazon will not allow me to explain it. It seems a pretty decent, functional tank and I’m glad I chose this one for its low aspect ratio. I think the cause for the bent sheet-metal parts would apply for any other tank from the same shipper.

The tank is the perfect size. I was it with my BS a fire pit. It’s easy to handle because the weight is good. The tank seems to be made of high quality material. I have not had any issues with leaks. I have recommended to my friends. It’s easier to pack and travel with than the larger tanks.
