I’m one who appreciates product reviews, good or bad, as they help me decide whether or not to buy something, especially if it’s a little on the pricey side. I thought I would help out my fellow Amazon shoppers with my honest opinion of the car cover I bought.I first started looking at the reviews for the car covers that were supposedly tailored exactly for the Subaru Outback. I couldn’t find one that I was comfortable with trying, as I really didn’t look forward to having to return it if it wasn’t as well made as I had hoped. Then I ran across this cover that is made for multiple vehicles, and based on a size chart. The reviews were good for this cover, so I decided to give it a try.As it turned out, I had to return the first one shipped anyway! The packaging was fine (the box wasn’t damaged on arrival), but when I cut open the vacuum sealed package and took the cover out, one of the plastic clasps/buckles was broken. There was a spare one in the package, but I didn’t want to start out with one already broken. I don’t know what happened; maybe the clasp broke during the vacuum sealing process (they are sealed pretty tightly to fit in the box). Thanks to Amazon’s no hassle return policy, they shipped me a new cover immediately (I still haven’t returned the first one yet, but will soon).The second cover had no problems. I was a little disappointed with how thin the “cotton lining” on the inside of the cover is, but it seems to do the job. I included several photos to show just how well the cover fits the Outback. It looks like it could be custom tailored to fit. The only area that is ever-so-slightly not a custom fit is around the door mirrors. I just fold the mirrors against the car and there is plenty of room to spare. The zipper opening is not exactly where the door opens, but it’s close enough for me as I don’t plan to use it much, and it does allow at least partial access to the interior. There is a nice elastic band that makes the cover snug, and three clasps, one front and rear, and one under the middle of the car. As you can see from the photos, I only use the front and rear. If it were super windy I would probably use the middle one as well, but most of the time it’s just protecting my car from all the dust, leaves, insects and birds in the area where I live.If you’re looking for a good cover for your Outback, this one will do the job nicely. I can’t vouch for any other vehicles, obviously, but the cover does seem to be pretty well made. We’ll see how long it lasts taking it off and putting it on a couple times a day over the next year or so.

Purchased this cover for my Toyota pickup. First one was slightly damaged. Great customer service. Seller addressed the issue right away and sent a replacement. The cover is great. Make sure you order the right size. It is made of good material, well made with plenty of extra buckles and straps. Fits well on my truck. It covers it entirely from front to back bumper and even down the side. Will include picture with update.

I love this thing! It works perfectly for my smaller car. I really like the guide that was provided before purchase to measure the right size. And it was perfect! Of all the car covers on the market, I really feel like this was a really good choice. Also, they sent some other promotional things that I took advantage of and EZ Shade honored it!! This company really seems to care a lot about their product and their customers. I was shocked when they honored the promotion. They didn’t have to but they did. I’ve had the car cover on my vehicle for several months now. There have been some crazy storms here in FL and the car cover held up just fine. I’m curious to see how it does during hurricane season, but right now it is protecting my car from the hot FL sun and I couldn’t be more pleased. Will gladly buy another cover if I never need to from this company. Fantastic experience!

Let me start by reporting that this is a handy cover if you just want to protect your car from sap or bird droppings, but if you have frequent windy days, NO! The buckle snap on the rear of the cover let loose during a series of windy days where I live (northern NJ), and I retrieved it and proceeded to re-attach it. I then realized that the three-pronged buckle wouldn’t snap into place because it was broken. It’s not a sturdy, heavy duty plastic, so I’m not surprised. I AM a bit concerned that if we get a blizzard wind or similar type wind, the cover will take off like a parachute. I DO very much like the feature of the zipper on the drivers’ side that allows access to the interior of the car without having to take the whole cover off. Very handy feature!

This came as promised and fits my car perfectly. I did not see the slot for the antenna until after the cover was on. You have to make it yourself. I chose not to. The damage to my 2008 antenna was done. Not a big deal for me. The easiest way to put on is the side mirrors first. The underside is soft and the quality is perfect. I park outside and keeps my car dry from rain, and keeps the car free from damage from birds. Snow is on the way we will see how well it works.

This cover is good quality and fit is very tight and custom. Like the mirror pockets that form fit the sides of the car. Additional features are the reflective markers and the zipper side driver door opening makes it very easy to access the inside of the car without removing the cover. The carrying bag is high quality and very useful for storage. The straps on the bottom of the cover keep it nice and tight during winds.

I ordered size A2 based on the size chart, and it was a perfect fit for my small Yaris. The material is just right to protect my car, and it has been a great, affordable fix for preventing water from leaking into my trunk when it rains.Beyond that, I’ve come to appreciate it for other benefits, like keeping my car clean from bird droppings. It’s lightweight enough for me to put on by myself, but I definitely recommend buckling it at the front and back—strong winds can blow it off if it’s not secured. It has a yellow tag that helps differentiate the front from the back, says “Front.” Overall, a great purchase!
