These control arms (together with upper arm and ball joint) solved my Grand Cherokee’s tail wag when accelerating or decelerating. I mistakenly ordered two sets of control arms from Amazon – one from Detroit, and the other from Dorman. I was originally going to use the Dorman, but once I saw these Detroit Axle parts, it was an easy decision to use them instead. The Dorman were inferior quality with thinner steel and deformed where the bushings were pressed in, while the control arms from Detroit Axle appear identical to the factory parts in material and quality.

My 2003 Jeep Grand cherokee had a bad tail wag/wiggle on acceleration/deceleration and also on bumps or curvy roads, felt very unsafe. My local autozone and O’Reilly auto parts wanted around $130 for a pair of these rear lower control arms. I purchased these from Detroit axle for $50 pair. On removal/replacement only one of the original arms had a bad rubber bushing on the aft side. These new control arms fixed the problem, I highly recommend them, thanks Detroit axle for a great product at an awesome price!

It looks to be equivalent to the OEM control arms. It was a straightforward installation. My original ones were quite rusted.
