Fantastic quality LED type 90 bulb for custom Running/Deck combo light on old Newport sailboat mast. Heavy aluminum bulb base acts as heatsink. I had just installed new incandescent type 90 bulbs when I found these LED replacements….amazing !, 2x or 3x brighter than new incandescent bulbs, BIG improvement ! The difference you see in the brightness of my upper light in the pics is the plastic lens bulb cover has drastically yellowed and become opaque with 36 years (1983) of UV exposure , so these LED replacements are a big help in brightening that upper “Steaming” light. I’m glad to have found this 4-pack, $5 a bulb is very worth it, and now having 2 type 90 LED spares in addition to the 2 newly installed means I’m probably good for the life of this old boat and sailor ! 😉

This bulb fits perfectly in my original anchor light fixture on my Boston Whaler Sport-13. It is significantly brighter than the #90 incandescent bulb, and (surprisingly) seems to cast a more evenly-distributed 360-degree light than the original bulb. A 13-foot boat is pretty small, so it’s great to be more visible at night. Highly recommended.

Fit perfect in our 97 bounder RV lamps with the shades on them. The color is not that obnoxious led blue color, it is a soft white color that lights up nicely and keeps the ambiance nice.

Installed in 2000 GRADY WHITE 208 AdventurePlain and simple these bulbs are terrific. You can see in the photo one the bulb is brighter on the starboard side by far. My lenses are yellowing but with these new bulbs they are like brand new and white. In photo too you can see the difference in size compared to the number 90 bulb. I don’t know the longevity of these but I bought a four pack and have two extras so we will see. When I went outside tonight I could not believe how bright the rear deck was.

I bought these with goal to convert dash lights on 62 Corvette to LED. Eventhough they match the required number for replacement, the “bulb” size is bigger than standard incandescent bulb. It fits in socket and illuminates, but it would not fit into gauges. The bulbs are very functional, but not necessarily applicable in clock or guages.
